But Shauna was ready for it. Back in her original life, she grew up in the ghetto, before moving to Lake Point, so she had gotten into fights on a regular basis. Now, Shauna the white girl may never have gotten into a fight herself, but Shauna didn't have the memories and experience of Shauna. She had the ones belonging to La'Shawndra. And she used that experience right now to deal with Sa'Rhonda.
Sa'Rhonda (formerly Sarah) punched her fist in Shauna's direction, but was surprised when the white girl easily dodged her fist, then landed a fist of her own on Sa'Rhonda herself, causing a lot of pain. Sa'Rhonda collapsed to the floor, wheezing for breath.
Shauna leaned down towards her and smirked. "You fight like a girl. A white girl. You better learn fast how to survive in a ghetto, or you're not going to make it. You think things are different now? You just wait. Soon, this whole town will be one massive ghetto, maybe even the whole county. I wonder which boy will take you as his bitch."
Still on the floor, Sa'Rhonda just glared at her as Shauna walked away laughing.
