I explained the situation to him. He chuckled and clapped me on the back. "I knew that I was right to come here. So, what do you have for us?" he asked. I looked at him and said "Bring another of your useless grunts. We need a pilot to get to our location. They will go with us first to scout the area out. Then we will signal our clan to fly over with our archwings. We actually have some spare ones." That was nice for them. He immediately got on his phone and called one over. They brought the truck inside the cab depot. The next day, he got over to us. It was a male with very wavy light brown hair and golden-brown eyes. This one also had freckles and tan skin. His PEP designation was 08927. He also had a fresh x-womb installed in him. The other Volition Clan members upgraded their X-frames with the parts. They also had the new archwing attachments installed in the trucks. I was resting in my apartment and playing with my centaur children for a moment before I got a call from the Volition Clan leader. "They're on the move. Move your asses!" he yelled. I said goodbye and left.
Having the PEP unit drive the cab was very good. It made sure we got into the city without making any suspicious moves. If any of us Players did it, that would certainly draw some eyes. That was the last thing we wanted. I was in the backseat with Brett and Mason. Once we got to the airport, we had to go over to the management. We told them that we had a private plane. It made them all confused obviously, we were not on the list of private flights they would be expecting. Paul snatched the clipboard and looked at it. Brett got between them to stall for time. Both Mason and the PEP unit were shocked at their behavior. The manager demanded that he got it back. Paul just handed it back and said "Maybe you should check again. Our stuff is actually on the list like I thought." It was there now. "So it is. Sorry for the confusion, sirs. We will take you to the hangar right away." We were then led to a hangar at the end of the airport. To get there, they put us on golf carts. Once we got there, we saw a very empty hangar. They were now super confused. That was when Paul and Brett struck.
It was in the blink of an eye that they pounced and knocked out the staff. "What do we do now? There's no plane." the PEP unit asked. "Are we going to hijack one!? I do not think that's going to work. I'm pretty sure they all are sealed up airtight." Mason added nervously. I turned to them and said "Can you guys go outside and keep an eye out? We have a plan, but we can't let anyone interfere." They nodded and started walking the perimeter. Once they were out of range to see us, we ran in, and Brett spawned a Beechcraft G36 Bonanza. It was a 6-seater and it was custom. It was a peanut butter brown with red and purple accents to represent jelly. When they came back to the front, they were amazed to see the plane. "Where did this come from?" Mason asked as he moved forward towards it in amazement. The PEP unit narrowed his eyes. "This is not possible. I would have perceived a plane coming into the hangar." he said. I just shrugged. "Well, it's here now. Can you actually fly it?" Paul asked him. The PEP unit sucked his teeth. "I've downloaded enough data to pilot." he said.
Just then, some airport security guards rolled up in their cruisers. They saw the incapacitated staff on the ground. "What happened here? There were reports of passed out people here." We told them that they passed out due to the heat. "We have to take off soon. Can you take care of them?" Paul asked. They looked from us to the staff and back. "We'll call for an ambulance." one of them said. We moved forward to the plane. The PEP unit got in the pilot's seat and we got in the back. He got on the radio and talked to the tower. They were able to get us out on the runway in under half an hour. We were buckled in and we taxied down to the runway. After making the final checks we were ready to take off. It was my first time on a plane. It felt exhilarating to take off. We were then in the air. We could look out the windows and could see that there seemed to be monsters and a large whirlpool in the sea. It was pretty scary. I did not want to fight those things. It looked like a daunting task. It took us several hours to get over there. We wanted the northern island. There was no landing strip.
