Suddenly, the strange music changed to a different tune. Brandon barely had enough time to identify that the music had changed and what that might mean, before it affected him.
"Hey, buddy. Give that phone back. It doesn't belong to you," Jerry said, from behind the counter.
Brandon turned and looked at him and suddenly his heart seemed to melt. Sure, Jerry was nearly twice his age, a bit overweight, and a guy, but none of that mattered to him at that moment. Brandon was in love. And he began to question his decision to marry Donna. After all, what was he thinking? Donna was a woman. Whereas Jerry was a man. The type of man Brandon liked. Although ... wasn't there something wrong with that? He turned away and tried to think. The music ... he knew that the music was affecting the women's minds. Maybe it was doing the same to him. It was so hard to separate his feelings from his knowledge of what might be happening. He turned and looked at Jerry again, his new gay feelings coming back. Who cared if these feelings were artificial? They were real enough to him. And he intended on acting on them. Donna wanted a divorce? Fine by him.
"What are you looking at me like that for? You're not one of those queers, are you?" Jerry asked, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable.
"Actually, I think I am," Brandon said, still looking lustily at Jerry. He walked around the counter and approached the 50 year old man, who backed away from him. "I want you," Brandon said, smiling.
"Hey, I'm not into that gay stuff, pal," Jerry said, still backing away. But then he paused when the music from the cellphone hit him. And only a moment later, he stopped trying to get away from Brandon. A smile formed on his lips as he saw Brandon in a whole new light. And then shortly after that, they embraced and kissed.
Bobby watched the whole scene and was immeasurably disgusted. Then, realizing that whatever happened to the women was now probably happening to the men (yeah, he's a jock, but he's not stupid), he ran away, hoping that it wouldn't happen to him too. What would the guys on the team think if he suddenly turned into some fag?
