The moment Lyndsay mentioned "weird music", Brandon spun around towards her. In college, he had minored in Psychology and knew that behavior could be altered with certain tone patterns. Although he had never heard of a pattern of tones turning a straight woman into a lesbian, the evidence spoke for itself that this was definitely some kind of mind manipulation.
He grabbed the phone out of the waitress' hand before she had a chance to disconnect the call.
"Hey, that's my phone!" she yelled.
"Calm down. I think this music might have something to do with your ... change," Brandon said.
"What change?" Lyndsay asked.
Brandon was stunned. Apparently, they hadn't even noticed that they were any different, at least consciously. He brought the phone up to his ear. "Hello? Is anyone there?" he asked into the phone. No one answered. Instead, he just heard more of that strange melody. This must have been the most sophisticated tone pattern that he had ever known. Whoever created this must have been some kind of psychology genius. But why turn straight women into lesbians? What was the point?
Maybe he could get a recording of this "music" and try to reverse its effects or something. He had to get his wife back, after all. He was just having that thought when suddenly ...
