When the changes finally stopped, the outside world had the appearance of circa 1880. All the cars and trucks were gone, replaced by horses and carriages, the asphalt roads were now cobblestone and dirt, and all the men looked like cowboys. But, oddly, the men weren't the only ones dressed as cowboys. Some of the women were too, although most were wearing dresses common to the time.
"What's happening?" Bobby asked, rising from his seat.
"I ... I don't know," Dawn said.
Jerry threw down a dish towel and walked towards the exit. "I'll see what's what," he said.
"No ... wait," Lyndsay said, thinking it might be a bad idea, but not exactly sure why.
But Jerry didn't listen. He walked outside anyway.
