"We're going down there," Matt said, pointing at what looked like a group of small buildings.
"What is it?"
Matt looked down at his watch, which wasn't a watch at all, but rather some sort of a device that allowed Matt to check his stats, among other things. Amy had one too. But Charlie didn't.
"Some sort of space port."
"What's the objective?" Charlie asked.
"We're supposed to steal some sort of device."
"That sounds easy enough," Amy said.
"Without being caught," Matt added.
"Oh."
"What if we are caught?" Charlie asked. "Does the game reset or something?"
"No," Matt said. "Like I said before. The game ends when we win. If we get caught, we'll have to find a way to escape. But we have to make sure we have the device with us before we make a run for it."
They made their way down the sloped hill and hid behind a row of bushes. Looking over the top of them, they saw a blue translucent wall of energy surrounding the group of buildings. It must have been a force field.
"I don't remember seeing that when we were on the hill," Charlie said.
"Maybe it only appeared when we got close enough."
"Does that mean they know we're here?"
"If they knew we were here, we'd know it. They certainly wouldn't just let us sit out here chatting with each other."
"Good point. So, what now?"
