When they asked Tyrion, he obviously said yes. Thomas was someone I was also concerned about. I called him and told him that he should also come with us. Thomas said "Unfortunately, I was going to go on the prowl at the club nearby. I wanted to meet someone new." That was good. "That sounds great. You should take all the time you need. I was going to invite you so that you wouldn't feel lonely." I said. He chuckled and said "With looks and skills like mine, I'll never be lonely. Thanks for the invite though." I could agree with that. I hung up. All there was to do was wait. I wondered if Benson was going to be on the mission. He was the one to give me his necklace. It would be bad if he died because he did not have protection. I was wondering if I should call him when my phone rang. "Is it Benson?" I asked out loud. It was Zayne. He said "Hey. We didn't get to talk since last time. I wanted to hear from you." His voice sounded pained. "Are you alright? You didn't get hurt in the scuffle, did you?" I asked out of concern. There was a pause. "No. It's just cramps. Hit the gym too hard."
You did not need to tell me twice. I already knew that Zayne was an omega. I wondered if he was going through his heat cycle now. "Well, all you can do now is wait for it to settle down. Maybe there is someone that can help you. A good bowl of ice cream helps me out." I said. He groaned in pain. "I'd rather just listen to you for a while. Tell me about your day." he told me. I told him about when I woke up. I left out the parts where I was doing something lewd or treasonous. "Damn. I want to go to the bar with you guys, but I don't even know if the cramps will go down." he said longingly. "Maybe you need to see a doctor." I said. Zayne was slipping up. "Naw. I don't need that. I just need to... rest up a bit." he said quickly. "If you think so." I said. We then started to talk about other things until I could hear Terrance enter the room. "Geez! I can smell your heat from downstairs. Let me help out with that already. Being stubborn isn't going to do anything." he said. "N-no! I'm fine. The heat is... helping with my cramps! Yeah, Danielle. I need to go. I'll talk later." he quickly said. He hung up.
I guessed that Terrance was trying to get with Zayne. That was not my problem. I could not save everyone here. All I could do was wait for the results of the raid on their frat house. Best case scenario, Arthur would live and kill that bastard Tybalt. Worse case scenario was the inverse. The next day, we went out on the town to drink beers and cocktails together. We were hopefully going to miss the raid on the house. I needed to keep them here as long as possible. I decided to engage in some brief conversation. "Is Zayne doing okay? He was saying he had cramps yesterday." I said when we got to the bar. Thomas said "Yeah. He just doesn't want to take our help when its offered to him. We look out for our own." Tyrion shrugged and said "It's up to him." I nodded and asked if they came here often. Tyrion and Thomas did drink here very often. Both Simon and Bradford did not. "I come maybe once a month or so." Bradford said. That was okay. Going to a bar did not matter to me. This bar had a darts board. I was able to drink and play. Tyrion and Thomas were competitive.
