Fighting Max was not something that I really wanted to do. However, it was something that would really help Cody out on his quest to get closer to Max and get laid. He had done several tasks for me. Doing him a favor like this was totally something in my power. I was going to be waiting on the pool to fill anyway. I took over the ooze suit that Cody was wearing. It was study hall for them. 'If you want ooze to fight Max after school, I'm going to need to drain you for a bit.' I told him. He nodded and let me do it. I went to his twin Dustin and told him the same. He was less okay with it. That was understandable. He was not the one that wanted to get fucked by Max. Dustin was not for the relationship in the first place. I drained him nonetheless. It was important to get enough mass without hurting either of them too much. By the time study hall was over, I had enough for a clone. The twins had to drag themselves down the hall to the school store. The clone needed clothes after all. Both of them were dead tired by the time I met them in the hallway. I grabbed them by the arms and had Cody lead.

Pointing the way, Cody got us back to the area he spoke to Max privately. There did nor seem to be anyone there until a white-haired boy dropped down, seemingly from out of nowhere. When his green eyes focused on me, I knew that Max was ready for a fight. It was the bright curiosity of a cat, but the rest of his face showed his true emotions towards me. It was overall a look of pure disdain. He hated villains after all. His hips swayed from side to side as if he was truly a predator stalking prey. He caught himself and stood up immediately with a red face and an embarrassed cough. I really wondered if he would have tackled all of us if he did not reign in his feline instincts in time. I did not bring it up. Instead, I placed the exhausted twins against the wall so that they could relax. The lifelessly sank down to the floor. "What's up with them?" Max asked as he came over to inspect them. "In order to actually make a clone to fight you, I needed to drain them. It's really taxing on a common human." I explained. He just blinked. "They should have just come to me. I wanted the fight."

Self sacrifice was not something that I expected from him. Then again, he did have a heroic streak to him. Doing that would also not be a sacrifice at all since he had infinite energy. Either way, I did not have enough information to make clear and accurate judgements about Max. "I wouldn't mind being drained." he said. It was much too late for that now. "Maxxx!" Cody cried out in a tired tone. He could barely keep his eyes open as he reached for his special one. Max scoffed and reached his hand out so it could be softly held. "Why don't you take a nap for now, guys? By the time you wake up, we should be done. Then I can take you home." I told them. Regardless of their true wishes, they could no longer fight the deep sleep beckoning to them. Max said "That sounds about right. I don't get why a common would fall in love with a cat like me, but I'll play along for now." We then fought. He had an unorthodox fighting style that kept him low to the ground and striking with all his limbs randomly as he leapt up at me or jumped past me. I was still too strong and eventually beat him up.
