"Now, who are you?" Jason asked Chris, who was sitting down in a chair across from the others.
"I was a vampire hunter."
"Those exist?" Lisa asked.
"Yeah, as long as there have been vampires. But ..."
"But what?" Steve asked.
"You're something new. You shouldn't exist."
"What do you mean?" Lisa asked.
"There are a finite number of vampire clans in the world and those clans have strict rules about who is to be turned. But you ... you turn people on a whim. You obviously don't belong to any clan, but that's impossible."
"We're our own clan," Jason said.
"But where did you come from?"
"Narayanne. She's the one that turned me," Jason answered.
"I've never heard of a vampire with that name."
"That's what she called herself. She's the one that gave me this gift. And in turn I gave it to Lisa and Steve." Lisa pushed her hands down her latex corset and smiled. She definitely called this a gift.
"This is a problem. I don't know if your Narayanne friend knew what she was doing or if it's all just an accident, but this is bad."
"What's bad about it?" Lisa asked
"Your clan ... our clan is an anomaly. It's going to upset the whole balance of things." He leaned in closer. "Don't you get it? You could potentially turn everyone in this town into a vampire. There's nothing to stop you. The whole world could be yours."
"What's stopping the other vampires from doing the same?" Jason asked.
"They have rules. They've grown up that way through the centuries. All new vampires must obey their elder. What the elder says goes. I think you know what I'm talking about."
Jason nodded.
"What about the hunters?" Steve asked.
"There are only a handful of them. You don't have to worry about them. They're so pathetic," Chris said. He didn't think of them that way before getting turned. He thought that they were powerful and unstoppable. But now since Chris was on the other side, his opinion of them changed. He saw them as weak pathetic beings. He felt disgusted that he was even near them. And if he met up with them again, he wouldn't hesitate to feed on them.
"So, what do we do?" Lisa asked.
