Chris Roth, the man that Jason had turned, woke up in Steve's bed. He looked around the gothic bedroom and suddenly remembered what happened. He was still alive, which only meant one thing: he had been turned. He leapt out of bed and looked in the bedroom mirror, hoping that he was wrong, that somehow there was a third option, that his life had been spared. But he wasn't wrong. A pale white version of himself stared back at him. He opened his mouth, already knowing what he'd find. Yes, the fangs were there. He was a vampire.
But there was still time. He knew about the bonding. And he knew that it took some time to be completed. If he hurried, he could kill himself before he started to change.
He scanned the room, looking for something to ... yes, the bed posts. They were made of wood. All he had to do was splinter one of them off and stab himself in the heart. An ancient way of killing vampires, but it still worked. He reached out to grab one of them, when suddenly an odd feeling came over him. It was starting. He was beginning to bond with those sick vampire freaks. If he didn't kill himself soon, he'd be just like them. He pulled on the bed post, but then stopped. This was wrong. Why did he want to kill himself? He tried to push these new sensations and thoughts out of his mind, but it was too late. The bonding had started and there was no way to stop it.
He left the bed post alone, then turned back to the mirror. He smiled at his reflection. He began to like his new fate. He began to sympathize more with the vampires and less with the humans.
He tore off all his old clothes and found new ones in Steve's closet. He was like a new person now, so that meant a new identity, an new lifestyle.
Some time later, he walked out into Steve's front room, dressed in a black underbust leather corset (no shirt), a long black leather skirt (the same as Jason's), black boots, and around his neck a black gothic necklace. He grinned. And the others grinned back.
Jason stood up and walked to him. Then he kissed him. Chris allowed it.
"Welcome to the family, brother," Jason said.
