While I did not think it was a really good idea, I was going to leave it up to him. It could be interesting. He had the suit to help him get out of any pinch he could get into. If it went well, then that was an added bonus. Cody was a nice guy. "Why don't you just approach him at school? He still goes here, right? You were even going to bravely confess your feelings." Cody turned away. "I lost my nerve, alright! I was beat up for trying before. How the hell am I supposed go back there to try again?" he said. That was true. "Dustin and I can go with you. He fucked you even knowing you were a guy before. That means that he, in theory, doesn't mind being with a guy." Dustin really did not like this line of discussion. It was clear on his face. Cody looked unsure. "Listen. We can find him now. You'll have back up and a pair of shoulders to cry on if things do bad. You got this." That encouraged him. We then spent some time tracking Max down. I pushed Cody towards him. Dustin and I watched from a distance. Max was with some of the friends I saw that night. Cody said something and they walked off.
Since it was interesting, I went to the suit he was wearing. Dustin and the clones followed at an easy distance. Eventually, they stopped walking. "What is it?" Max asked with a sigh. Cody was fidgeting a bit. Max just looked at him. "M-my name is... Cody. Do you remember rescuing me?" he asked. Max scoffed. "Yeah. 4 on 1 fight. You didn't go down no matter what they did. They were going to have to kill you. Everyone there saw it. You must have been really pissed off at them." he said. Cody nodded and said "Y-yeah! They beat my brother. I wanted to teach them a lesson. But. I wanted to say something to you. Something I couldn't before." He then told Max the full story. He even added the part about the rescue from the thugs in the cat neighborhood and the sex they had. Max did not look like it was a big shock. "Stay still." he commanded. Cody flinched and stood in place. Max leaned forward and smelled Cody's neck. "Wh-what are you doing?" Cody asked. "I'm a cat. I can pick up scents from people. It's not as strong as a dog's, but I wouldn't forget someone I fucked." he said.
After Max finished sniffing Cody, the lanky common boy was red in the face from embarrassment and a little aroused. Max could obviously tell from the large smirk on his face. "You really are in heat. I remember that scent from that night." "S-so... can we go out?" Cody asked. Max frowned. "I told you already. I don't date. Definitely not with villains. I promised to beat your ass the next time we met." Cody took a nervous step back from his crush. Max shook his head. "Look, I'm not going to beat you up here. We're in school Cody. But afterschool, I'm coming for that ass of yours. I'm going to prove that I can be a hero by taking you in." he said. "Can't we work something out!?" Cody begged. Max sighed with a frown. "Listen. I get it. Life as a common can be tough. That doesn't mean you can go about being evil. That's not going to fly. I don't want to beat you up after helping you out that day. You even have a crush on me so it wouldn't even be a fair fight." Max then looked off to the side as he thought of something. "Tell you what. Give me someone else to fight instead and I'll let you slide."
