"You're like us now," Steve said.
"Like you? What do you mean?" asked Lisa.
Then Jason said "We're vampires."
She suddenly stood up and backed away from the both of them. "Vampires? No. They aren't real." She looked at herself in the mirror again. "I ... I can't be."
Jason stood up and approached her. "It's nothing to be scared of. At first, I didn't like it. But soon after, I couldn't imagine not being this way."
"You're sick," she said, pointing at him. "You need help."
"No, Lisa. You're the one that needs help. From us," Jason said.
She collapsed on the bed and began crying into her hands. Deep down she knew that he was right, as much as she wanted to deny it. But she didn't know it just from what she looked like, but also because of the way she felt. She couldn't convey what that meant, but she knew it was there, inside her. There was no question of it. She was a vampire.
Jason sat down next to her and put his arm around her. She stopped sobbing and looked at him. She made an odd expression on her face, as if she were seeing Jason for the first time. Suddenly she liked the way he dressed. She no longer thought of his outfit as "freaky". She ran her hand over his leather skirt and smiled. "It looks good on you."
"Thanks."
It felt like everything she knew about herself was fading away and being replaced by something else. Oh, she still had all of her memories, but they started to feel foreign, like someone else's. Her desires and dreams were changing. She didn't understand, but what was happening to her was the same thing that happened to Steve and Jason. She was bonding. But not only to Jason, the one that turned her, but also to Steve. It was almost telepathic in nature, but only after they turned. Lisa was beginning to feel more "gothic", because both of her "brothers" had gothic personalities and lifestyles. The gothic behavior was so strong between both Steve and Jason that anyone that got turned from then on would be heavily influenced by it.
But it wasn't all one way. Jason and Steve retrieved a bit of Lisa's desires, as well. But it seemed that Lisa changed more than her brothers.
