It would be an inconvenience for me for them to be poking around, but it seemed that they were going to pass me by. Half of them wanted to do something else. The nice couple of had better things to do. Namely, each other. It was then that one of the group turned to another and said "Doesn't your cousin have a pickup truck, Billy?" Billy looked at me and then the group. He sighed. "I could call him, but he's weird." he said. The half that could not be bothered to deal with the wreck just left them there. The guys crowded around Billy as he made the call. "Hey. Jack, you still have that tow truck?" There was a pause while Billy rolled his eyes. Billy then explained the situation to him. He then waited a few seconds, nodding when he felt appropriate. He then said "Thanks. See you soon. Tom and Jeff will be here too." Billy then turned off the phone. "He'll be here in half an hour. Just... don't mind him if it gets weird." he warned. "You keep saying he's weird. What's up with him!?" one of his friends asked. Billy just sighed. "Not only is he not a Blessed human like most of the family. He's a villain."

Progressively, it got more interesting. He was a goon of a higher up villain. He was the so-called "wheel man" of the 34th ranked villain. While a villain on the board in his own right, it paled in comparison. His job was to drive all of the lieutenants of the villain and the boss himself. The villain's name was Kingpin. He had his spindly fingers in several pies all over the country. While not as successful and powerful as Fat Cat, he was a very comfortable man in his position of power. That, and not being blessed was probably what garnered his cousin's scorn. When the pickup truck came, it was gold and crimson. The young man got out and hugged Billy. "It's been a long time, my cousin!" He had scruff along his face. Billy just winced as he was squeezed. He was not hurt at all. He was a Blessed human. Billy just felt that it was a moral injury as his cousin was embarrassing him. "Can you help us or not, Jack?" he said. Jack let him go with a smile and looked at me. His eyes widened in recognition and then narrowed. He said "Hmm. I don't know. Something about it screams 'Bait car' to me.

Quite astute of him. He knew what I was right away. He would have to know about me with all that had been going on in the villain scene as of late. Billy gave him a real disdainful look. It seemed that Jack did not notice it. Both of them looked similar as lean pale skinned young men. It was clear Jack was a few years older. Both were blond with blue eyes and thin eyes. Tom and Jeff were disappointed that they would not be able to fix and drive their own car. "Ah man! Really!?" one of them said. The other pointed at me. "Who would be trying to get someone to steal that hunk of junk!? It's right there." he pleaded. Jack crossed his arms. "No can do. I'm telling you for your own good: do not mess with that car unless you want to end up like me." he said. Billy scoffed and said "Well, this didn't lead anywhere. See you later, Jack." It was clear he wanted his cousin to leave. Jack looked down at the pavement. "I don't have to go so soon. I can give you guys a ride home. Do you want some fast food? It's been years since we were together. We used to hang out all of the time." he offered.

Really not interested, Billy declined. "No thanks." Billy said firmly. It was pretty awkward from the way Tom and Jeff looked on. That was when the assassins screeched to a halt in front of us in their fast car. Jack quickly got in front of the younger guys and in a low voice said "Stay behind me guys." He then pointed at the new arrivals. "If you want the ooze, it's all yours. I knew this wasn't that simple." Jack said with a tough, cold look on his face. His doubt and excitement for familial ties were long gone from his face. He looked like a villain. Billy, Jeff and Tom all looked from them at me in shock. "Calm down, Wheel Man. We're not after small fry like you. It's the ooze we want." one of them said. The other just glared at them. "Let's go." Jack said. They were more than will to be corralled into the tow truck and drive off. "Better had." the one that was glaring said under his breath. It was clear that this was not something I could simply walk away from. I was going to have to fight. Splitting into 2 centaurs, I said "I'll take both you punks on. You think I couldn't have escaped long before now!?"
