"Wait, you can't leave like this," Irwin shouted at the two new women.
He was not sure what had happened to the real Madi and Shirley but he figured he'd better find out, before there was some kind of complication. As if having his father and mother turned into lesbian lovers wasn't complication enough.
"We're leaving, Junior and don't try to stop us. I don't know what is going on here but I feel the best I have in decades so I'm going home to enjoy it," said the new Shirley.
With that, she and Madi left, hand-in-hand. Irwin just stood there, watching as the two women walked a few steps, stopped, kissed, then walked on.
"Well, technically they are married, I think," mused Irwin.
He needed a nap, badly, so he lay down on the livingroom sofa and fell into a fitful, dream filled slumber.
