Michelle stared at her new room…
her life- just like that was gone. Her life as a boy… unless his sister changed her mind. Which was unlikely she realized. What could she do?
Her friends in school… everything she did and worked for just gone! Now she had somehow taken his little sister’s place in her room. “No way!” She ran back to her old room- only to find it had now become Ellie’s room… her big sister’s room. Elle can’t be serious can she? She can’t just… ‘age herself up’ without any consequences… Did she even understand?
Elle was making changes around the room. She made the bed a horrible pastel pink, placed some stuffed animals around… shelves were brimming with toys, looking like the room of a girl who never grew up (which was horribly accurate)
“Hi Meichelle!” Elle smiled. ”Being older is fun!” she said. “Hm.. I like my body! I kinda look like mom don’t I?”
Michelle sighed. “Elle, this is… wrong,” Michelle stated emphatically. How was she even able to do this? “You only look older! You don’t even know anything about… well… anything! Its wrong!”
The seemingly older teen looked down at her new little sister, swinging her long legs. “Why?”
“Because you’re a little girl! You don’t know what being a teenager is like. I mean this doesn’t even look like a teenager’s room!” With the stuffed animals it just looked like a bigger version of her old room.
“Hmph. If you can be one it can’t be that hard. Besides, when I go to your school I’ll learn! In the meantime, you can take my place and do the things I’m supposed to be doing.”
“…what…” Michelle looked flatly at her.
“Don’t worry! I made it so that you have all my friends. They were always nice to me. Well except for Jessica but she won’t be mean to anyone anymore. Say hi to her in the playground for me!”
Michelle stared at Elle. “…you can’t be serious.” Go to her… school? As this little girl?!
At that point their mother walked in… having someone else was a godsend! Michelle immediately started to explain the situation. “Mom! Elle changed me into a little girl! It wasn’t always like this and she’s making me go to her school and she’s made herself older and-“
“Haha!” The older woman giggled interrupting her daughter’s imagination. “What a funny story. Come on you know you must get ready for school now! You can play later.” She pated her daughter’s head completely oblivious to the situation. As far as she was concerned Michelle had always been the little sister, living in her own room.
Elle giggled. “Yeah Michelle. We can play later!” Finally, someone else was being told what to do. She wasn’t going to be a kid ever again! This was way too much fun. She just needed a few pointers on what being older was going to be like… and she would fit in just fine.
“Now now Elle! You do have homework to do.” Her mother reminded.
“…homework?” Elle frowned at that confused.
Michelle sighed…
she was now in middle school as a girl. She still had her old mind ‘mostly’… but talking was difficult. Bigger words, more complicated ones wouldn’t come out and she realized she was feeling a lot more emotional. What could be done though? His little sister was this supreme power of a god… and she was too young to understand what that meant. His resistance to her influence was as much a curse as a blessing.
Maybe a little time as a teenager would make her return things to normal? She hoped so anyway. She didn’t want bad things to happen to her… or to her friends.
“Hi Michelle!” A girl said waving to her before class was to start. She had cute blonde hairs in pigtails and wore a blue dress. She frowned as she noticed her friend’s expression. “Is something wrong?”
Michelle looked at the girl… her own heigh and size. It didn’t feel right at all to be in this situation, but she had little choice but to go along with it, at least until Elle changed her back. “I- I’m fine. Um… Sally.” She was glad to remember her name. It was her sister’s friend… she had come to their house a few times.
Sally gave her a quick hug. “You want to go play with Jessica?”
Jessica... Oh. The girl that upset Elle? She hoped she was okay… the new girl was nervous to think what happened to her. “...sure.”
The two girls walked to the back of the playground where there was a garden. Sitting there- planted as a flower, was a girl. She had green skin but no legs… her body seeming to be part of the flowers themselves. Leaves covered most of her body. Her head was green with small vines extending ouward as hair. “Hi Michelle! Sarah!” She seemed happy and excited to see them.
Michelle stared at the flower girl confused. Is this what her sister did to her? “Uh- are you okay?” She asked.
The flower girl noded. “Yeah! A bit bored. It’s always nice to have you two come by and play though. It does get a bit boring, but I’m hoping one day they can move me around to other places. They say they are gonna get a big spade and a pot so I can move around. It’s going to be great! I can go in the class soon.”
Michelle sighed. So… Jessica thought she had always been this way? Maybe that was better… she suspected the girl got too upset and so Elle changed her mind to make this as if it always was so. Though the details of how it worked in her mind as a mystery and he dare not ask any questions… because if she did, and it forced her to think- there was the distinct possibility the child would remember the truth…
…seeing the flower girl content with things as they were, she decided it was best to just let it be. “You- you’re looking great! Did you get lots of sunlight?” Michelle asked going back to her ‘kid mode’ that she was starting to get the hang of.
“Uh huh! It rained just enough too. I can’t wait to start attracting bees!” She giggled. Then the bell went and they had to get o class.
“Aww. Sorry Jessica we gotta get to class,” said Sally.
Michelle nodded. “Yeah… take care Jessica.” She quietly hoped her sister wasn’t going to hurt her friends. She was worried about her friends..
Reality warping had a bit of an art to it.
There was also an ‘annoying’ issue known as ‘free will’… even a reality warper was not able to direct a human’s will. However they could certainly be ‘forced’ to act against their will.. or be made to think it was always the will they wanted. Elle was pretty good ever since she gained her power at figuring out all the little things.
She felt like she was the literal center of the universe, and the world was just a video game. She could make anything change into anything else she wanted. There was little that was ever an ‘inconvenience’ to her. When she wanted more milk from her mother’s breast she simply willed it so. (Not that she remembered this but her powers did come very early to her life.)
She learned more and more about the world, and when her favourite TV-show got cancelled she decided to make the news more like her anime show, creating magic girls, invading monsters. It was so much fun! She delighted in exploring the strange lives of people in this world she had found herself in… but the one thing that resisted her power was her brother. A mind that couldn’t be changed.
It.. infuriated her. It was like he was this little fly buzzing in her ear and no matter what she did she couldn’t erase his brain of all the things she does. What’s the point of having so much control of the world if there was one part that couldn’t be changed? She liked her as a little sister though, but couldn’t make it so that she thought she had always been one!
So now Ellle looked like a teenager… going to the same classes that her brother did. She always wanted to see what it could be like so growing up her body made sense. Experiencing puberty seemed to make her feel a little… weird. She did seem to understand more though so her power had aged her up mentally to some degree.
… somewhat.
She looked around happily, wondering through the corridors of the school wondering who to make friends with first. The reality warper walked up a girl with blonde hair, that reminded her of Sally. She was wearing a red and white dress. Oh she was a cheerleader! Elle knew them from the movies. The girl was acting badly to another dark haired girl, their conversation flying a bit over her head. She interrupted them. “Hi I’m Elle wanna be friends?” She smiled eagerly to her.
The cheerleader looked at Elle like she had just broken some weird social rule. “Ha- Haha! What are you a kid? Get out of my face!” She dismissed her aside quickly. She turned back to the dark haired girl. “You can’t be a cheerleader! Don’ even bother.”
A strange emotion went through Elle. Nobody had ever… spoken to her like that before. She was just a little girl! She looked down sadly… but then realize she didn’t have to feel that way at all. She could do anything right? However, what to do? She pointed her finger.
The cheerleader while walking suddenly started to get smaller. She looked around in alarm as her body became a mere three feet tall! However besides that her body was physically unchanged.
“Wh-what happened!” She gasped. “I’m a- a-“
Then a few people past her by, their long legs brushing against her. “Whoa- sorry-“ one said. “Why is a kid here?”
“I’m not a kid!” The girl screamed. “I- What..” She looked down at herself in confusion.
Elle smiled. “Who’s the kid now huh?” She grinned. And looked to the dark haired girl.. “Hi! I’m Elle. Wanna be friends?”
The girl glanced at the transformed girl… then at her with a wordless expression. “…Uh. Yes?” She nodded. “I’m.. Marina.” The dark haired girl cleared her throat. “Did you.. shrink that girl?”
“Huh? You remember that?” Elle asked suddenly a cold breeze going through the school.
Marina gulped. “…am I not supposed to?”
Elle frowned a bit. “Well- It’s weird”
“You kinda remind me of another friend I had so I think it’s okay. Let’s be friends!”
Marina held her breath. “S-Sure…”
