Jerri fired the Transformation Gun, and though Ryan tried to jump out of the way, he was still struck by the blast.

However, Ryan did not feel any different. He looked at himself. Physically, he appeared unchanged. And mentally, he didn't seem that much different either. He didn't seem to be thinking any unusual thoughts. Then again, perhaps he wouldn't even notice they were unusual.

"Hey, what gives? I thought these things changed people!" Jerri shouted, as she stared at the Transformation Gun she was holding.

Ryan looked as the 80's punk rock woman tried to figure things out. "Geek Gun?" Jerri said. "Oh, right."

Ryan sighed with relief. "It didn't do anything because I'm already a geek naturally." he said.

"Yeah, well you still work for that rich jerk McMillan." Jerri said. "If I were you, I'd quit workin' for them motherfu--"

"I'm not your enemy!" Ryan said. "You've just gone crazy! It's the Random Gun that did this to you!"

"Like I give a shit!" Jerri growled. "Rich assholes like McMillan are always holding us back! It's time we told them we're not going to take their bullshit anymore! We're gonna live for today!"

"Look, calm down. We can work something out." Ryan said. "Do you remember who you were?"

"Yeah." Jerri said. "I used to be a perverted scientist guy who creeped out any woman who got near him. Screw him, he's dead now! I'm not going back to being him!"

"Uh ... you don't have to." Ryan said nervously. "But we've got more important things to worry about. There are other people going crazy here. Jeffries..."

"Don't worry bout him." Jerri said. "I clobbered him about an hour ago. Then Duncan showed up again and got in a fight with him back at the main lab and I haven't seen them since."

"Don't you care about them? We worked together for months, for crying out loud!" Ryan said.

"They don't know me!" Jerri growled. "They only know that creep I used to be and never liked him much. I don't owe them a damn thing!"

"Look, we need to get things settled down here." Ryan said. "Find all the guns, return things to normal."

"Normal? Hah! What was so great about the old normal?" Jerri scowled. "Screw you, I'm not helping you! Go and work out your problem with Jeffries yourself. I'm gonna go upstairs and teach McMillan a lesson!"

She turned to leave, when Ryan spoke again.

"Wait! You don't know what's going on up there!" Ryan said. "For all you know, Mr. McMillan's already getting his comeuppance. He's the least of our worries now."

"Yeah, well you don't know that! I'm out of here! Eat my dust!" And with that, Jerri rushed off toward the nearest elevator or staircase.

Once she was out of sight, Ryan sighed. Jerri's new 'punk girl' personality was probably an improvement over the former Dr. Chance's previous one. He wished she would have stayed behind to help, as Ryan needed all the help he could get right now.

He remembered what Jerri had said. If Samantha and Jeffries had gotten in a fight in the main lab, he needed to find them and see what he could do to help.

He rushed to the main lab as quickly as he could. When he got there, he gasped in surprise.

Several of the tables were turned over, and two of the robots were smashed, apparently hit with heavy objects. In one corner, Jeffries (still in the form of the white-haired mad scientist) lay unconscious and tied up with duct tape. Nearby stood Samantha Duncan, but a more athletic looking Samantha. Ryan realized she must have been zapped with a Jock Gun.

Samantha was staring at the Cargo Teleportation Chamber with a look of sorrow mixed with ... fear? Dread? The teleportation machine looked charred, as if from a recent fire or explosion. A fire extinguisher had been dropped on the floor in front of it.

"Samantha!" Ryan said. "What happened? Tell me everything!"

"I tried to stop him!" Samantha said, her voice breaking. "He was going to send two batches of Transformation Guns at once. I fought with him, but he did it anyway. Overloaded the machine. And that's not the worst part..."

She paused. Her eyes were filled with tears. "They're everywhere now. It's on the news..."

"What?" Ryan exclaimed.
