"Are you sure you can do it?" I asked Louis.
"Completely," he said, smiling.
"Are you sure it's a good idea?"
His smile faded. "What do you mean?"
"It's been five years. People have adjusted to their new lives. If you reverse what happened, it'll mean mass chaos again."
"But everyone will be back to normal, in their original bodies. It's what should have been done years ago."
"Maybe it should have. But I don't think ..."
"Fine, then," he said in a huff. "I'll do it myself." He turned around and was about to leave, but I stopped him.
"Wait." I didn't really think reversing the Shift was a good idea, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to see the NTE Project and the alien spacecraft that they researched. "I'll help you break in."
