Eric uneasily hugged the woman. She was obviously one of the few people lucky enough not to have switched bodies, and was also obviously under the impression that her son was, as well. Eric wanted to tell her the truth, but his heart sank at the thought of what her reaction would be. Fact of the matter was, she might never find her real son, so he decided to play the part of her son, if only to keep her happy.
"Mom, this is all so crazy!" he said, in a voice that was shaky from genuine fear. "Let's just head home... okay?" She smiled, giving Eric a peck on the cheek and then led him to their minivan.
But what they found when they got to Eric's house was quite unexpected..
