(I quite liked Kylo's addition and will add to that branch as well, but I wanted to keep this branch going so we can follow Jen exploring the secondary effects of the wish and how her life has changed.)
The Gibson Mansion was, simply put, magnificent. Jennifer felt like she was living in Wayne Manor as she exited her room in the east wing to make her way to the family breakfast nook, knowledge of the layout coming to her as she thought about getting breakfast. The building was old world but very well maintained and seemingly renovated to use the latest technology, as Jennifer observed a variety of smart devices hooked into the house's various systems.
Eventually coming to the breakfast nook, which she somehow instinctively knew she usually at in rather than the formal dining room, she was met with a sight that surprised her, her family all laughing and enjoying breakfast together. That was certainly a rarity in her past life, as the Gibson's hadn't been the closest of families. Her parents were distant from not only the family but also each other. What she didn't know was that in the previous reality Linda Gibson had still been a lesbian, just a closeted one, and the strain that put on their marriage rippled out to the rest of the family. Here, Linda and Roxie had a very loving relationship and it showed as Jen saw the two sharing a sweet morning kiss over their coffee, when she walked in.
Linda looked like she remembered her but not quite. She'd always been a fairly attractive woman, but the Linda Gibson had the time and money to take care of herself. Her hair was professionally styled and it was obvious she'd had a recent manicure. She was also far fitter and seemed a bit younger as a result. The fact that she was now a snappy dresser certainly helped, evidenced by the sharp red blazer and tight black slack combo she was currently rocking. Additionally she was just happier in this reality, being able to be open with who she was and that happiness radiated from her.
Roxie looked of course radically different than she had. Gone was the potbellied slowly balding form of Richard Gibson, and in it's place was the mid-Atlantic beauty that was Roxie Gibson. Roxie looked a good bit like Jennifer, which made since as she was her biological mother in this reality. The major differences between them were Roxie's blue eyes and darker hair that verged on black. Despite being 36 she easily looked like a woman in her late-twenties, possessing a tight rear and well proportioned breasts. She wasn't quite as fit as Jennifer, who now sported an actual six pack, but she was still slender and stood the same 5'5 as Jennifer, even if it was rare for either of them to be seen outside of their heels. Roxie was wearing a set of Eres leggings and a rose red sports bra, evidently having just returned from her morning jog around the gardens.
Both of her mothers regarded her with warm smiles, and Jen had to fight off shock at the casual display of physical affection when both rose to give her a quick hug.
"Morning Sis, want Maurice to prepare the usual?" the voice of Zoe asked, and Jen blinked before realizing she was sitting at the table as well. While Zoe hadn't changed much physically, still being the biological daughter of Linda, the girl looked completely different. Gone was any trace of Goth from the girl, and she instead had her natural brown hair framing a cute, lightly made up face. Instead of corsets and combat boots, she was dressed in a pink button up and pleated Burberry skirt. Jennifer couldn't picture the old Zoe being caught dead looking like that and also couldn't remember the last time she spoke that nicely to her.
"Um, sure" Jennifer uncertainly responded before sitting down with the family. Roxie to her left and Zoe on her right. Mikey was sat across from her and seemed the least affected by the changes so far. The usual turned out to be an absolutely delicious egg white omelet with bellpepper, served with fresh squeezed orange juice by the family chef, Maurice. Jennifer's family noticed the girl was a bit quieter than usual that morning, as she was trying to absorb her new circumstances, but shrugged it off as perhaps just having an off morning.
Soon the family finished their meals and began to set out for the day. Linda kissed her wife behind and climbed into her black convertible, jetting over towards her law office. Roxie was at a point with Gibson tech where she could afford to be much more hands off, and would be taking Mikey to school that morning in the Rolls. Roxie's casual comment about Jen needing to pull out first was what alerted her to the fact that she owned a car in this reality. A purple Tesla as it turned out, and rather than walking to school, she typically drove her and Zoe in since the Gibson Estate was further out from where their old house was, picking Karyn up on the way. A part of Jennifer wanted to call in sick so she could explore her expansive new home, but she knew that could arouse suspicion. So instead, soon she was zooming off towards school in her car, Zoe texting her friends in the back seat.
