Jennifer got up and began preparing for the day. Apparently she was now something of an early riser and she stepped into her luxurious marble shower to scrub herself down. The various high end shampoos and conditioners probably cost more than she'd spent in a year on bath products in the previous world. She had to keep herself from indulging in to much exploration of her new body; there'd be time for that when she didn't have school to get ready for. It wouldn't do for her to get distracted and screw up something in her new reality off the bat. That said, while she hadn't been hit with all of Jennifer's memories, she was finding that they were coming to her contextually as she instinctively knew her new morning routine.
After toweling off she sat at her vanity and began brushing her magnificent mane of hair. It seemed she instinctively knew how to avoid tangling it if she let her body run on muscle memory. This was followed by the application of makeup, and thankfully it seemed she'd absconded with Sarah's talent for it as well. She chose a bold shade of dark maroon lipstick and generally worked her magic to enhance her already elegant features. After she felt satisfied that her face seemed "right" as far as her instincts were telling her, she then strode into her new closet. The walk in was easily the size of the previous Jon's entire room and was filled head to toe with hundreds of dresses, blouses, skirts, and shoes. Sarah's fashionista tendency and sense had also been taken in Jennifer's mystical conquest, so the new girl was able to intuitively pick out an outfit.
She started with a baby blue bra and panty set, nothing too fancy but still quite high end. The bra subtly enhanced her already well endowed assets. Over this went a mulberry silk blouse from Milan. The fabric felt luxurious on her flawless skin, and a far cry from the scratchy Wal-Mart fabrics she'd known before. She left the top two buttons undone, letting some of her cleavage show. Nothing that would be considered improper but still subtly provocative. The blouse was paired with a highwaisted short black skirt, adorned with a tasteful gold buckle. The sensation of wearing a skirt was new to Jennifer but she quickly discovered she knew how to sit and stand with one, having acquired Sarah's feminine grace. She selected matching purple three inch heels that she also found she could walk effortlessly in. They boosted her up near to her previous height, but filled her with a confidence she'd never had when she stood that tall naturally. She then found a jewellery box and proceeded to pick out accessories.
She selected a silver moon pendant necklace that nestled nicely into her new bosom. As she picked it up the fact that it was a gift from Karyn in this new reality flashed in her mind and filled her with warmth. She added two silver bangle bracelets, beautifully wrought with Celtic knots on them, to either wrist. She reached her hand up to her ears and discovered that not only were her ears now pierced, she had an additional upper piercing in the cartilage. She placed two small silver hoops in her upper piercings and selected a pair of ruby earrings, that she now knew were a birthday present from Linda, for her lobes. She finished her ensemble by grabbing her Saint Laurent purse and slipping her lavender cased I-phone into it. She also slipped the wishing rock into her purse just in case.
She was shocking herself with how at ease she felt with her sudden gender change. She supposed part of it came from her stolen confidence, but increasingly she was starting to realize her previous awkwardness and anxiety may have come from never being fully comfortable as a male. Jennifer felt so much more comfortable, in her admittedly flawless, skin than she ever had as Jon. She smirked in the mirror and strode out into the Gibson Mansion, eager to start her first day and explore how her life had changed.
MEANWHILE
The wording of Jennifer's original wish was in fact plural, so the magic had yet to run it's course. Indeed it sought out other cases of imbalanced fortunes that it could flip.
