Halfway home, they parted ways, with Jon heading to his house (with the wishing stone) and Sarah heading to hers.
Just walking home, Sarah could easily notice the difference in reality. Her breasts were so much smaller now that it almost felt like they weren't even there. Going from DD-cups to B-cups was certainly quite a drop in weight. And her shortened hair felt so alien to her, almost like she didn't have any. At least, it was still blond.
And then there were the people's reactions towards her. Boys driving by were actually whistling at her, like she was a knockout. Which, she supposed, she was now. And even before arriving at home, she got approached by some of the more popular girls, who all looked just as thin and tomboyish as Karyn ... and now Sarah. Apparently, Sarah was friends with them in this new reality. It was all so weird. In her old life, she had no intention of being friends with those girls and those girls wouldn't have given her the time of day either.
Almost home, Sarah began to wonder if her family was any different. Could her accidental wish have some sort of side effect that could have changed them? It was already very apparent that her wish had changed other people, as she discovered on her way home. It was a very good possibility that her relationship with her family might be different too.
