A couple of days later, Jim had just finished his last class, and was getting ready to leave school. As he was bending down to put his books in his back, he waved at Rick, who was walking over towards him. He stood up as he finished with the books, and saw that Rick had made it over, and was looking very angry.
"What's going on, Rick," he asked.
"You know damned well what's going on! Come here!" With that, Rick put his hand on Jim's shoulder, and started pushing him towards the nearest outside door.
"What the hell are you so angry about?"
"I should have seen it sooner," Rick declared. "You could have just told me, but no! I had to find out third hand."
"Jesus, man. Calm down. Find out what?"
"That my sister's into girls, except that you and I know that this particular girl isn't. Don't we, Kim."
Noticing the people around them, who were all watching them and following them out the door, Jim said, "What are you talking about. Who's Kim?"
"You know exactly who I'm talking about! I get it. That's why you were so shifty when I asked you who Rebecca was dating. You were the one. Which means that you're not only seeing my sister, but you're two-timing her with another girl," Rick continued. "A girl that you're sleeping with, just to make the insult complete. You might break her heart, but I'm going to break your body."
"You're crazy, man. I've only dated one person in the last several weeks; I'm not two-timing anyone!"
"Beth already doesn't ring any bells," Rick demanded.
"Calm down, man. Just cool it; let's go somewhere quiet, and I'll explain everything that's been going on."
"There's nothing to explain, except how much of your body my fist is going to go through! You're just lucky you got me in trouble last week, or I'd really hurt you, permanently."
By this time, Rick had dragged Jim a good fifty yards from the door. And just then, they heard Rebecca calling out from near the door, "Stop it, Rick!"
