"Fine, Mom. Kim and I are going out in a few minutes."
"Kim...?"
Rebecca opened the door, saying, "This is Kim, mom. She lives nearby, and she's in some of Rick's classes. We were just going to go to the park, as soon as I get changed."
"Hi Kim. I'm Jane. So you're graduating soon?"
"Yes, Mrs Johnson. I'm still trying to figure out about college, though."
"Well, you better figure it out soon, before it's too late."
"I know; I'm trying, Mrs Johnson."
"Alright, I'll let you girls get ready. Have a good time." Having said that, she left, closing the door behind her.
Jim turned back to Rebecca, "As soon as you change?"
"I can't go on a date dressed like this! Baggy sweats?!? No way! Can you turn around for a minute? Thanks."
Eventually, Rebecca said it was ok for her to turn around, so she did. "Wow! You look incredible, Becca," Jim said.
Rebecca blushed bright red, all the way down to the V-neck of her T-shirt. In fact, her outfit looked to be picked to be the same as Jim's, except that the shirt was pink. "Ready to go?" asked Rebecca.
