Jon felt a little strange but decided to leave his room and see what sort of things were new and different in this world she found herself in ( she hadn't yet noticed that in her mind she already thought of herself as female, it just felt natural and normal).
The first thing Jon noticed was the smell of sage in the air, sage is commonly used to ward off negative energy and there were little incense burners everywhere with the smoke from burning sage incense sticks, as she left her room, Jon saw Zoe leave her's, she greeted Jon pleasantly, which was a bit different, but more noticeable was she was no longer entirely the classic Goth, she wore flowing skirts and natural fabrics, her long dark hair was loose and fell naturally in waves across her shoulders. The look was clearly 'alternative Culture ' but not Goth, somehow Jon knew that the colours she chose today were significant , each day requiring a different colour palette to honour the many gods. Today was Wednesday so she wore purples and blues to honour Jupiter.She also had various charms and arcane looking accessories , this at least resembled her previous normal.
"Hey Zoe, how are you doing?" she asked
"Good, so, have you tried it yet? I bet you have, I can't wait to see how you turn out, this is going to be sooo great!" she responded cheerfully, clearly excited about something which Jon had yet to discover.
"Tried what Zoe, sorry, I must be a bit tired" Jon said, trying to buy some time to work out what she was so excited about.
"The Grimoire of course , silly! Omigawsh! I literally can NOT Wait to see what you will look like when your Initiation is complete, I bet you will look really hot, I mean, you have such excellent templates to work from when you look at me and mom!"
Zoe actually started to bounce up and down with excitement , meanwhile, Jon was baffled but a little niggle of concern wormed it's way into her brain.
"Ummm, yeah I tried it but I don't think anything is different about me?" Jon opined hesitantly
"Oh!" Zoe's excitement faded a little, as she looked closely at Jon, seeing nothing different but she sensed there was ...something?
"Well, I'm sure it won't be long until you come into your full blossoming, you just need to keep practicing with the Grimoire, well, I was just going to..uh, visit the ...you know?"
With that she quickly went into the bathroom, leaving a still baffled Jon to contemplate what was going on.
Maybe, she thought, I could use that Divination spell to get more answers, or I guess I could just ask Mom or maybe Karyn knows something?
