Karyn decided to corner Sarah first. She picked a blouse off of one of the racks and held it up to Jon's body, "Hey, this would look really good on you in that body." Karyn then saw another blouse folded on a table and picked it up too. "This one, too." She saw a third and fourth and fifth shirt, and gathered them up in her arms, much to the bewilderment of Jon, who would have been taken aback even in this new reality, but was even more so considering he didn't have any memories of going shopping with this Karen.
She dropped the pile of clothes into Jon's arm and pushed him towards the changing rooms, saying "go on, I want to see how you look in these," and hoping that he'd get distracted enough by his new body that Karyn could have a decent conversation with Sarah.
As Jon walked through the curtain, though, Sarah said "He's not going to know what to do with himself in there. I'm going to go help," and before Karyn could think of a good reason why Sarah shouldn't, she had disappeared behind the curtain as well.
Karyn's plan had backfired: instead of singling out one of her companions, she had gotten singled out herself.
