As David sat there, a memory came to him suddenly. That's where he saw that woman and little girl before. It was in a newspaper a few years ago. It was such a tragic story. A man named Brick Harrison brutally murdered both of them. He wasn't just some stranger, though. He was the woman's husband and the girl's father. The guy had a rough life growing up, ending up an enforcer for one of the few gangs in Lake Point. So when he insisted that he wasn't to blame, that it was all a set-up, no one believed him. He wasn't sure how, but David knew that this was Brick's phone. But how could his phone be here, or anywhere, for that matter? Brick was in prison, or at least, he was supposed to be.
What the former pastor didn't know was that Brick had escaped just days earlier and was hiding out in the neighborhood he grew up in. This neighborhood. David had now taken his place and would soon find out that the people in the photo on the phone he found were his family and that he was the one who just escaped from prison to track down the one who was really responsible for killing them.
But since David had taken Brick's place, what happened to Brick?
