Back at his house, Jon opened the previous year's high school year book and looked up Karyn Black. It was still weird seeing her with larger breasts and blonde hair, and the year book reflected that, since wishes (unless otherwise stated) changed the past so that it was always that way, but there she was, just as she had wished. Next to her was a photo of the new Sarah Black, who did look very similar to her. In fact, they looked like the same person, if it weren't for the different hairstyle and clothing. Flipping over to a different page, Jon looked for this Danielle McMillan and found her right away. Nope, she didn't look familiar at all. Whoever she was before, she was a complete stranger to him. He was about to close the book, but then paused when he noticed some of the photos shimmering. "What the ..." It was like the photos after Dani's were being shoved over and a new one was appearing, one of a boy named Derek McMillan. Wait ... was that ... Derek Lettman, the emo kid? It was! But he wasn't emo. And he looked like he could definitely be more related to this Dani girl who had taken Sarah's place. Jon began to worry more. It was what he feared. Things were still changing. Browsing the other student photos, there were a few missing that he knew should have been there. Like Nadine Ferguson and Tina Shepard.
Jon turned to look at the wishing stone, just lying there on his night stand. He knew he couldn't use it to know exactly what was happening because of his dumb wish, but perhaps he could use it to stop what was happening? For all he knew, Jon could be the next one to change!
