Biff was even more confused. "No. You live here. This is your house. You're Dani McMillan. Can't you remember?"
The thing was, she did, oddly. She knew who she was and she certainly wasn't this McMillan chick that this guy thought she was, but at the same time, the name sounded familiar, and even though she was sure she had never been in this house before, it also felt like it really was her home. She looked at him. "So...this is my house, and you're my boyfriend? And we're in high school?"
He nodded, slowly.
Dani thought about it. She hadn't exactly done well in school the first time. She wondered if this was some sort of weird second chance. This could be...not bad. At the very least, if it didn't work out, she could get something out of it. "Umm...I guess that shock confused me a bit," she lied.
"Do you want to just sit down?" He asked, concerned.
"Yeah, sure...Biff..." She said.
Dani didn't consider the question of who had lived this life before...the idea didn't occur to her that she'd replaced anyone, much less that that person had to be somewhere. Or that someone had actually taken her place in jail.
But what had happened to Sarah? She had been in her bedroom, when suddenly...
