He nodded and said "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. When I say something like that, I mean it. That's what a man is." I looked him in the eye and nodded. "We have to trust to each other. I don't need to know your ace in the hole. That's the power or secret move that you pull out when nothing else works to save your life or win a fight. Just give me the general idea. I can generate energy and create fireballs with them." I said. "I can teleport. I am also really good with my hands. Get me a nice knife and I can't be beat." he told me. "Listen. There's 2 of us and over 90 people that need to die. The more we have in our group, the harder it gets to stay together. We need to fight harder for more spots. Especially if we go over 6 people in a team." I said. He asked "So, will we add people? Who will it be?" I said "People that are scrappy and not against fighting, but not total psychos. A cool power is an added bonus." From there, we were on the lookout. People were starting to move and huddle together with those around them. After a couple of hours, there was an altercation. Four were arguing.

On one side was a husky older boy. He was the oldest of the one arguing. The conflict had gotten everyone's attention. The acoustics of the auditorium made it very easy to hear from where we were, even though we were off to the side halfway across the large room. There was a younger kid behind him looking nervous. On the other side of the conflict, there were a pair of boys that look slightly younger than us. They were identical boys with girly figures, wider hips and plump butts. Undercut haircuts with platinum blond bangs that covered one eye made them both visibly striking to me. One twin had their left eye covered. The other had the right. "Hey. You want to say that shit to us again? It seems like you're talking some seriously dumb shit." one of the twins said. They both looked pissed off. The husky guy said "I didn't say anything dumb. You girly boys're going to be eaten alive here. You need a man to keep you both safe." That got him glares. "If you don't mind letting me hit that ass every once in while I can be that man for you. Henry here agreed. There's no real shame in it." he said.

I leaned into Tobey's ear as we saw electricity gather around the twins. One had electricity colored a sick black. The other had white arcs covering them. The husky guy said "Cute light show. Let's see if you twinks actually have any power behind you." He was clearly egging them on. His eyes were glowing green. "There we go. That's what I was Let's get the twins." I said as I pointed. "You sure?" he asked. "Yeah. We have to get in the middle now." I said. He shrugged and teleported us right between them. I looked at them and said "Are you guys serious? You really want to paint targets on your backs like this?" "This is a fucking death game. You don't play games like this unless you're ready to die for whatever is on the line." I said to the twins. They looked at each other, but did not power down. "This is that important. We don't roll over to anyone." one of the twins said. "We choose who we fuck and when!" the other said in agreement. "You got your answer. They are not interested in joining. If you fight people to the death over joining sex slavery, you won't be popular." Tobey chimed in.

With all eyes on the six of us, the husky guy and Henry had to back down. He huffed and grabbed Henry. "C'mon. We do not need this shit, Henry. There's way more fish in the sea." he said. That was certainly true. Within 15 minutes, he already had a group of 6. One of them was a lanky guy almost as tall as him. The rest were either young kids or girly. The game allowed for Players to form parties of 6 so that was probably the size limit of any real coalition here. The twins saw the threat had passed and powered down. Others started to mind their own business again. They thanked us for diffusing the tension. "No problem. Guys have to stick together when the chips are down." Tobey said. I asked them to join us and they accepted. They followed us over to where we were before and introduced themselves. Their names were Kayden and Jayden. Kayden covered his left eye and had the black electricity. Jayden had the white electricity. We were now a team of four people. That was a good size. There was no threat of breaking up or betraying the weakest link. Time moved on as we chatted.
