"I have an idea," Jon said, "we're back in the reality where your body never changed, right?"
"Yea," Karyn replied.
"Well, since the wish was made with nothing happening in this reality, then it must have appeared that the stone didn't work!"
"What's your point?" Karyn asked.
"If the stone stopped working," Jon explained, "then I certainly wouldn't carry it around or even be particularly careful with it. It's probably back home in my room!"
"Well, let's go get it and see if we can't fix this!" Karyn said, grabbing Jon in her body and practically dragging her out the door.

Jon and Karyn headed straight for Jon's room and began frantically searching for the stone. Mikey noticed they were acting a bit strangely, and decided to listen in on them.
"Do you think maybe you threw it out?" Karyn asked.

"Think Jon, where would you keep a broken magical wishing stone?" Karyn asked.
The whole dialog seemed strange to Mikey. Jon and Karyn were acting like they had swapped bodies, which even Mikey knew was impossible. Then when Karyn, who sounded like Jon to Mikey, mentioned the wishing stone, goose bumps ran down Mikey's arms. He looked at the stone in his hands, imagining what he might be able to do.
"I wish I knew if this really was a wishing stone," Mikey said, suddenly realizing with an absolute certainty that it was.
Mikey had, however said the wish louder than he intended to, and both Jon and Karen had heard him. Jon in Karyn's body wasted not time throwing the door open and grabbing for Mikey and the stone...
