Kyla suddenly found herself in dark slacks and a conservative blouse, walking in to her independent study session, she felt very serious about her school work and wanted to be sure she was the best. Being the best was important and if she had to forgo friends and normal school life so be it, she preferred the older crowd anyway. Her only friends where the teachers, who she had convinced in her demeanor and dress to allow her into the teachers lounge at lunch times, she just didn't feel comfortable around her "peers". She preferred the history teachers and Science and Math departments. Except for one.

Kelly Robinson walked into the room, she was an English teacher and was the type that had fallen back on teaching from her ideal job choice of Jedi master. She was wacky, or at least she came off that way, she taught a course in comics and would show "classic" sci fi films after finals for her students, and gave extra credit to students who would see films she was interested in and write about them. She wore a blouse, because she had to, but underneath she wore a Vader shirt that said "Whose your daddy", because it made her smile. Kelly thought that Kyla was too uptight and needed to expand her studies and have fun and imagine things. Kyla thought that Kelly was frivolous. It was an unspoken tension in the teachers lounge that existed whenever they were both there.

They both sat at the table in alone in the room when suddenly a student popped their head in with a sticky note and read it aloud.
