“Time to wake up, sleepyhead.” Biffanie’s deep, yet melodic voice stirred Biff—no, Baylie, he reminded himself—awake. He blinked a few times as his eyes adjusted, and the figure hovering over him came into focus.

“Biffanie?” He asked groggily as the boy came into view. After a quick makeover session, they had spent the night together sharing the bed. Biffanie had obviously gotten up before him, as he was already dressed. Today he was wearing a light pink cocktail dress with a skirt that fell just above his knees.

“Wow!” was all Baylie could say. Biffanie smiled.

“Now, it’s your turn,” hei said excitedly dashing over to hys closet to choose something for Baylie to wear. As hei pondered over hys options, hei instructed Baylie to take a shower. After a moment in the hallway, Baylie made it to the bathroom. Like everything else in the house, it was large, and since mainly the boys used it, there was a touch of pink to the tiling. The shower was in the corner of the room, and on the other side sat a wall-to-wall marble countertop with multiple sinks underneath a large mirror. Baylie rolled his eyes as he noted the many bottles of makeup products sitting next to the sinks; he even spotted a couple of pink razors.

Stripping off his clothes, Baylie stepped inside the shower and got himself clean. He remembered how Dr. McMillan had told him to shave his legs before getting dressed in the lab. Now, he could see why. Boys didn’t seem to wear anything other than skirts or dresses in this world. He knew that Sarah shaved her legs, so that rule must apply to boys here. Fortunately for Baylie, Sarah had shown him how to do it last night, so, begrudgingly, he picked up a razor and shaved his legs.

Baylie tried to think. He wondered what was going on in his normal world right now. Was he missing? It was hard to think, though, with the music that Biffanie had left on. It was some really annoying and bright pop music station. Not even Sarah listened to music quite like this, it occurred to him.

After the shower, he grabbed a pink fluffy towel—everything seemed to be pink—and dried himself off. As he did so, he had to withstand the DJ banter on the radio station.

After the break on Sparkle FM, we’ve got all the latest on Jaylah’s trip to Mexico with hys new beau!

“No thanks,” Biff muttered to himself, shutting the radio off and sighing in silence. He wrapped the towel around his waist, as he normally would, and went back to Biffanie’s room to see what outfit the boy had picked for him.

“Baylie!” Biffanie squealed, shielding hys eyes as Baylie came into the room with his chest exposed. “Oh my Goddess! What are you doing? You can’t go around walking like that. What if Mom had seen you?”

Baylie, for his part, looked at the boy confused. Biffanie lowered hys hands and rolled hys eyes.

“You can’t walk around exposed like that,” hei explained. “Bois wear bras, remember?”

Baylie blinked. “Seriously?” he asked in frustration. “I can’t even walk around with my top off?” Biffanie shook hys head.

“Do women walk around topless where you’re from?” Hei asked as hei stepped towards Baylie and pulled the towel up towards his nipples. It was a look that Baylie had seen many women wear stepping out of the shower; the only thing missing was a towel around his head, which he supposed he had to do now as well.

Baylie raised an eyebrow at Biffanie’s question. “...Of course not. Are you saying they do here?”

“Sometimes.”

He sighed, realising that Biffanie had a point.

Recovering from the situation and still mulling over what he’d just been told, Baylie turned towards the bed, where Biffanie had laid out a set of clothes for him. Despite Baylie’s extra muscle mass, Biffanie had figured out that most of hys clothes would fit the new boi.

“This is the outfit that I chose for you,” hei explained. Hei gestured towards a hot pink cami top with a ruched detail and a matching pink pleated skirt. Baylie gave the boy a look, but after realising that he had little choice, he relented and reluctantly reached for the pink, lacy bra and panties.

“While you were in the shower I managed to arrange an appointment for you at the salon,” Biffanie explained as Baylie got dressed. “We need to sort out that ugly gurl hair of yours and get you a proper look. Unfortunately, I can’t come with you, as I need to meet up with the rest of the bois on the squad before the game tonight.”

“There’s a game tonight?” Baylie asked, interested.

Biffanie nodded. “Yep, Sarrah and the gurls are playing against Mount Valley… It’s a big rivalry.”

Baylie agreed, noting that—of course—it was the girls playing and not the boys. “Same back home… It’s the big rivalry of the year. I get it. Guess some things don’t change.” He wondered. “Is Mount Valley any good?”

Biffanie shrugged. “I’m a boi… How would I know? I mean, all I know about football is that we’ve won two state titles in a row.”

“Whaaaaaat?” This was news to the former Biff, whose teams tended to hover around .500. “How?”

“Well, Sarrah gets offers from tons of colleges because shi plays so well.”

It was clear that, while Biffanie didn’t know hys way around football, Sarrah did. Seemingly more than he ever had.

Baylie finished getting dressed, and Biffanie gave an approving nod. “That top really suits you,” hei remarked. “All the gurls are going to love you.” Baylie sighed and rolled his eyes as Biffanie continued, clapping hys hands together excitedly.

“Now, it’s time for makeup.” Hei led Baylie over to the vanity table. “Do you think that you’ll be able to do it on your own this time?” hei asked. “You only need a light coating, as I’m sure my brotherelles will want to give you a complete makeover.”

Brotherelles? Baylie thought to himself. Must be their term for brothers, he figured.

“Um, sure…I guess,” he replied. Biffanie had made him apply and reapply his makeup enough times last night for Baylie to at least do the basics.

After a few moments, Baylie had finished applying his makeup; after standing up and doing a little twirl, he met Biffanie’s seal of approval. At least for going to the salon.
