Biff sat at the long dinner table along with Biffanie and Nic as Bianca dashed in and out of the room, bringing out plates of food (it was apparently salmon night at the Woodwoman house). Biff was surprised to see three more bois enter the room. They were all equally as blonde and wearing about as much pink as Bianca and Biffanie.

I guess that blonde must run in the family, Biff thought as he stared at the three bois.

“Baylie,” Nic began. “This is Brittanie, BrieBrie and Brookie. Biffanie’s brotherelles. Bois, this is, um, your cousin…Baylie.”

“Ooh,” the older of the three bois, probably a year younger than Biffanie, cooed. “I didn’t know that we had a cousin.”

“Yes, hei’s a long-lost cousin, and hei’s going to be staying with us for a while.” The three bois cooed and fawned all over Biff, hardly leaving him alone.

“This is going to be fun,” Brittanie said excitedly. “I can’t wait to give you a makeover.” Hei added as hei looked Biff up and down.

“Hey, I met hym first,” Biffanie argued. “I get dibs on the makeover.”

“Now, now, bois… Baylie is our guest. I know that you’re excited, but let’s not overwhelm the poor boi,” Bianca pleaded as hei came in with the last dish and finally joined them at the table.

“Sorry, Dad,” Brittanie apologized. Bianca waved it off and invited everybody to dig in.

After dinner, Biff and Biffanie broke off from the group so that Biffanie could show Biff around the house. The bois wanted to join them, but Bianca asked for their help in tidying up while Nic retired to the living room.

“This is your room?” Biff asked in disbelief as Biffanie showed him hys bedroom. He was overwhelmed by all the pink: soft pink carpets and pink satin sheets covered the king-sized bed. Lying on the bed, in front of a couple of pink, fluffy cushions, was a large collection of dolls.

Opposite the bed, on the other side of the room sat a vanity table crammed full of makeup and next to the table was a door which led to a large, walk-in closet.

“Whoa!” Biff exclaimed. The closet was huge! It wasn’t quite the size of another bedroom, but it was certainly close enough. Sarah had a walk-in closet, but it was nowhere near as big as this. Dresses and skirts lined the walls hanging from coat hangers; tops were neatly folded on shelves; and there were dozens of shoe racks, filled to the brim with all kinds of shoes.

And they were almost all pink.

“Uh-huh,” Biffanie replied, smiling proudly. “This is where the magic happens.” Hei looked over Biff once again. “And I’m gonna need to work some magic on you.”

“So this is my room,” Sarrah informed Sarah halfheartedly as shi gestured around the room. Shi was giving the misplaced gurl a guided tour of the house.

Sarah glanced at the girl as she stepped into the room. She sounds bored, she thought as she watched Sarrah lean against a wall. Almost as if it’s nothing special. She looked around the room and was mildly surprised. Even though Sarrah was a McMillan, her room looked more like Biff’s room than it did Sarah’s back home. There was a king-sized bed in the middle, clothes were strewn about on the floor, and there was even a bench press in the corner. Dominating one wall was a trophy cabinet–-which, Sarah couldn’t help but notice, was a lot fuller than Biff’s.

The only meaningful difference between Sarrah’s room and Biff’s room was the fact that dotted here and there in between all the sports memorabilia were posters showcasing the latest science fiction movies. Obviously, Sarrah was a lot smarter than Biff.

Sarah wrinkled her nose in disgust at the clothing on the floor as she gingerly stepped over a discarded T-shirt. Sarrah obviously didn’t care about how messy her room was, a lot like Biff. She raised an eyebrow as she examined the many trophies in Sarrah’s trophy cabinet.

“State championship?” she asked impressively. “Biff never won one of those.”

“Twice,” Sarrah replied proudly as shi got off the wall and joined hir. “I’ve got loads of scholarship offers; Harvard, Crawford, Dandridge State, Michigan State, Texas, LSU…” Sarrah ticked each college off on hir fingers.

“Wow!” Sarah exclaimed; although she hadn’t heard of Crawford or Dandridge, she knew that those last three she mentioned were big football schools. Biff had always talked about wanting to go to LSU.

Sarrah nodded. “Yeah… Pretty cool, huh?” Shi admired the trophies for a moment before turning towards Sarah. “So how about you? How many championships have you won?”

“Um…” Sarah blushed, trailing off as she looked down and held her arms behind her. “I’m actually a cheerleader. Biff’s the football player.”

Sarrah stared at hir for a few moments before shi burst out laughing.

“What?” Sarah asked, confused.

“Seriously? You’re a cheerleader?” Sarrah managed between laughs, and Sarah nodded. “Gurls aren’t cheerleaders… That’s for bois,” shi explained with disgust.

Sarah folded her arms across her chest and looked at the girl crossly. “Not in my world… Girls are the cheerleaders, boys play football.”

This caused Sarrah to burst out laughing even more. “The only thing bois are good for is keeping house and looking pretty.”

Sarah was shocked. Did all the women of this world think like this? How could she have such a closed mind about boys? Even if it was the boys who wore makeup and dresses, surely they had more things to worry about than keeping house and looking pretty.

“Are you serious!?” Sarah raised her voice. “Makeup and dresses? What got in their heads over here? Don’t they have jobs or aspirations of their own?”

Sarrah responded with hir own look. This gurl has thoughts like an alien from another planet, shi thought. “The only things bois care about are raising children, keeping house and looking pretty. They can’t help it, that’s how it’s always been.”

The last line set Sarah off. “Come on! At least where I’m from, us girls aren’t just pretty things.”

Sarrah shrugged. “Well, you’re in my world now. And, honestly… Your friend will look hot after Biffanie is through with hym.”

All Sarah could do was roll her eyes in disgust.

“Oh, and one more thing.” Sarrah looked right at Sarah. “I can’t have you going around with a name so similar to mine.” I can’t have some impostor ruining my good name, shi thought to herself.

Sarah thought of something to say, but looking around, there wasn’t much she could do. Sarrah was right. This was her world for now. And her body double looked like she could… womanhandle? her in a fight.

“What’s your middle name?”

“Uhhh… Gwen. I’ve never really liked it, though… Always wished my middle name was something longer, more melodic.”

“Hmm, that’s funny,” Sarrah reacted as shi parsed the new information. “So some of your names are the same as ours. I know a couple gurls at school named Gwen.” At last, something we agree on, Sarah thought to herself. “Nice to meet you, Gwen,” shi replied, stretching out a hand.

“Nice to meet you, Sarrah,” the newly renamed girl replied.
