In the bathroom, which was empty because class had only just started, Athena stared into a mirror at a girl named Beth. In her mind, which now disagreed with how her body felt, she was 5 foot 9 inches, tall for a girl, and sort of lanky, with modest breasts, hair that was cut at chin length and which was naturally dark and curly, brown eyes, and as she always joked, no ass, which didn't matter anyway because of the Gothic dresses she used to make herself out of other dresses and lace and a desire to look like witches of old. She never wore conventional make up, if she did it was something just short of outlandish, but she wore it as war paint, like it was part of a spell, a way of making people fear her. Her face was marked by Brown eyes, thin lips, and usually a nose ring on a nose that she always felt was a bit too long. She never felt she was pretty, but she compensated for that by her hobbies of dress making, rebellion and an understanding and pursuit of witchcraft which her natural intelligence and curiosity had lead her to. If she wasn't going to be loved, at least she could be feared for being something different.
But in the Mirror was another girl, A girl who nearly had her face. This girl was shorter, maybe 5 foot 5, had hair down past her shoulders, layered, with brown hair that had a natural tint of red to it that had been highlighted, so that she couldn't tell if it was natural or faked. She was wearing a black dress that ended much shorter than her usual full length dress, ending just above her knees. It looked like it cost a lot, though she wasn't aware of what designer had made it, it didn't look like anything she had seen. Then Athena became aware of what was inside the dress, a girl who had some curves, C cup breasts stuck out from a styled faux corset set into the dress, and lead down to a genital slop of a small waist, which lead to...she grabbed behind her, yep, she now had Sarah McMillan's famous ass, which was tight and heart shaped.
It was hard to tell how her face had changed, she didn't usually wear make up, and this face had well applied eye shadow, which accented what she now saw though as hazel eyes, brown with a green center, the eye shadow making the green stand out. Her eyes seemed almost bigger, her lips still thin, and then there was her nose, same shape, but was it smaller? where a ring once was there was now a stud.
Athena was struck by the difference. She sat for a while in a stall, slightly proud and slightly disturbed by the girl in the mirror. What did this mean? How had this much changed? Clearly the Physical changes were from sharing a gene pool with Sarah now, but the dress, the hair, the I Phone in her purse, which had a drivers permit for a Bethany Clair McMillan, tampons, and 60 dollars in it. That was it, the money, She now had money, that explained the hair, the clothes, apparently looking good came with the family, And then it hit her, looking in the purse. Though the IPhone which held few of her old fav band on it, she wasn't a Goth anymore. But from her conversation earlier, clearly she was rebelling somehow, she still had that part of her, though the need to instil fear now seemed pointless since she was now so pretty(and though she did not realize it, powerful) She needed to know more about her life, Who was Beth McMillan, and did she want to be her or try and hold onto her old life somehow?
Having taken full stock of her new self, she left the stall. Greeted by a mirror graced by an image of a girl who she now was, pretty, and without knowing why she smiled, pushed her hair behind her ear, revealing small stylish hoop earrings and walked out the door into an empty hall to find herself.
