(Author's Note: I enjoyed each of the vignettes, except I wanted to do something a little different with the Sarah portion, as I had some ideas about that. The rest of the sections appear here unchanged from Anonymous51's version. My Sarah version will appear as a separate branch)

Come on. Pick up the phone," Zoe fumed to herself. She had tried several times to call Athena and Nadine. Either they didn't have their phones or they were ignoring her calls. But why would they do that?

Fed up, she threw the phone on her bed.

Jon grabbed his ringing phone and answered it. "Hello?"

It was Karyn. She wanted to know if she could come over to use the stone, but Jon told her that he was planning on using it on the weekend, when they had more time. Until then, it was going to stay exactly where it was, in the box it came in. Of course, it wasn't there, since Mikey had taken it. But Jon just assumed it was there. He didn't bother checking, because one of Mikey's wishes was preventing him from doing so.

Gladys looked at herself in her bedroom mirror and smiled. She wasn't sure if it was just her imagination, but she thought that she was actually getting prettier by the minute. The absence of her glasses made her look considerably better.

Nadine walked towards her house, seeing that her father's car was parked in the driveway, as it always was at this time of night. She had spent the last few hours after school wandering around town, not sure of where to go. That Zoe girl told her that her parents had disowned her and that she now lived with Athena. But she didn't know where Athena lived and she couldn't find Athena. Really, she didn't want to. The less time she spent with that Goth girl the better. But it was starting to get colder outside and she really would have liked to be inside, even if it was a witch's house.

She stood in the front of the house that was apparently no longer hers and wondered if her parents could forgive her and let her back in.
