Just as we dodged out of the way of the shrapnel and flames, Wallbuster glared at us. It was set in stone. We were not the ones to mess with. I waved at him in triumph as we left. "This isn't the end of this, boys. Oh, no. This is just the beginning!" he hissed as he ran out the hanger. I pulled Gamma into a tight hug as soon as he was gone. Things were certainly dicey. We might have had to fight them if he couldn't fire. Sirens began ringing out all over the base. "Alpha! I was scared. How the hell were you able to keep your cool!?" he asked me when he stopped trembling. I walked with him out of the hangar. "Listen to me. When asked, you say it was Wallbuster. He came in the middle of the night to fuck us. We did not consent, so we asked him to leave. He then refused to leave. A fight broke out. That is the story I'm telling them. Do not mention Siegebreaker, we don't need multiple enemies. Can you do that for me?" I asked. Gamma nodded. "Don't worry. I got it. We're in this together." he promised me. There were military vehicles and the other 2 aeromorphs on base came over to see.
We were taken to the other side of the base for questioning. A trio of human officers on a raised platform were asking us questions one at a time. Gamma went in first. It took him half an hour for them to finish with him. I hoped he could keep the story straight. If not, we were screwed. When he came out, he tilted his head. "They want to speak to you now Alpha." he said. "I hope you told them the truth." I said with a smirk. "Of course I did. We did nothing wrong." he replied with a smirk of his own. I went in and stood in front of the platform. They asked me what happened and I went through the story. It was clear that what the bombers said was true. Every time I tried to tell them about Wallbuster's sexual assault on Gamma, they quickly redirected me with dumb asides and other questions. They did not want to have to report any of his misconduct. "So in the end, You 2 were in this... conflict, and you directed A.L.I.C.E. P02 Gamma to fire on precious military equipment." one of them said. "We feared for our safety." I responed. "Do you have any idea what the punishment is for this?" one asked.
I called their bluff. "I assume Wallbuster, Gamma and I will be under strict watch to ensure this does not happen again." I said. They just looked at me in disbelief. "Think again. This is much worse than a simple infraction! If you 2 were human, you'd both be put in jail and be on a flight to get your military trial!" the commanding officer snapped. "Not Wallbuster? Even after sneaking around base during lights out? Even after trying to assault and rape 2 of his fellow airmen? I don't think that's right. Do you?" I teased them. One of the officers, a female stepped forward angrily. "Don't fuck with us, newbie! We will have video evidence by the morning! You prototypes will be shut down by the end of the week." she yelled. I leaned forward. "Yes. Let's send a copy of that tape up the chain. I wonder what will they say when they see it?" I said seriously. She was going to say something else, but the others stopped her. "Watch your tongue airman!" the CO said. He then turned to her. "The hangar is very old. Who knows if the camera even survived? We'll leave them with a warning." he said.
