I just looked at him. He was talking about breeding. Since we were prototypes created by the mechanics and engineers, we were all that there was of us. By breeding, a pair of aeromorphs could conceive. We could make more of us for them. Female aeromorphs had anywhere from 1-3 eggs in their wombs and could lay them when they were fertilized. Those new offspring would be the new A.L.I.C.E. 1-01 and 1-02 series. I really had no interest in being a simple breeding bull for the military elite in this country. There were 5 of us in each series so I did not need to lower myself to do that at all. I was not sure of what Gamma and Delta thought of it. I could always ask them when I got back to the bay that we slept in. My thoughts were interrupted when the officer next spoke. "Only one of you are needed for the mission. The others will be breeding here at the base." That shattered my plans. I just wanted to keep Gamma and Delta at my side. That meant I would need to leave them behind. P02-Alpha said "I will breed Zeta. Epsilon and Delta can breed. That leaves Gamma for the mission."

Delta was an ally. Having sex with her would be the best if I was into that. That way, I could definitely keep her close and we would be a close pair. I just could not let myself be a breeding stud for NPCs. That just sounded too horrible to consider. Gamma also needed to be here too. "I'm going to go on the mission. Gamma and Beta also will stay here. I guess that just leaves our Epsilon for breeding Delta." The officer nodded in and called over P02-Gamma using the comlink. When they arrived, the mission was explained to all of us. "You 2 are going to go to another base of ours up north. They have need for a fighter and a plane for reconnaissance. You'll be there for a bit helping out with their operations and become part of a squad of human airmen in forward operations against a nation without any aeromorphs." he said. That was a pretty good assignment. I was going to like it. The worst outcome was avoided. "You guys're being shipped out to report to Ixiti Northern Air Base in a day. Collect whatever you want and make sure you're all prepared for the journey." he said. I nodded.

Even that was pretty quick when it came to preparation for a deployment. They looked at each other and then nodded. "P01-Alpha. P02-Gamma. You are dismissed. It has been a pleasure." the officer said. We both saluted in unison and then left the hangar. The others were then brought in via the comlink. They all came to see what was going on. The officer looked at them all before saying "Listen up. The brass has been tracking the progress of all the A.L.I.C.E. units. They have been really pleased with all of you." I saw how all the others were reacting. It ranged from a simple mildly pleased expression to fully ecstatic. My Gamma and Delta were both happy with all the news. Epsilon's face was just a self-assured grin. "That's why we have been given the green light to start with the first iteration of the A.L.I.C.E. units." he continued. I knew that they were all interested in this now. "For that purpose, you've been paired up for breeding. P01-Epsilon and Beta, P02-Alpha and Zeta, P01-Gamma and Delta and P02-Epsilon and Delta are all the pairings that were determined here." he told them.

Feeling calm, I looked at P02 Gamma. He looked pretty happy with the arrangement too. He probably wanted to fight too. "You have a week to get this done. Dismissed." the officer finished addressing all the aeromorphs that were staying in the base. We all saluted him, and we left at the same time. I walked next to him and asked "When do you want to do this?" The white and yellow smiled and said "Let's go. Maybe I can get some medals like you did." That would probably be nice. Gamma did not have anything. I needed the plaque where the larger show medals and ribbons were. Once I had that, I put it in the cargo compartment in my chest. It was the only thing that I had value in. Since that was the case, Gamma was ready to go immediately. He followed me to the runway. He was able to naturally take to the air so he was fine to go first. I still had to run and jump. Once we were both in the air, the tower gave us all the coordinates to the base. We flew together and it did not take too long. It was only an hour since the country was not large. It was great to touch down and we were ready.
