Benny seemed to be changing faster than he was growing, in the next few weeks. The tiny buds on his chest had become A-cup breasts, necessitating the use of a bra, something he wasn't particularly happy about. He complained about it constantly, though he did wear them. His face had softened somewhat; the handsome boy was becoming cute, if not pretty. He'd been letting his hair grow out for quite some time before all this happened, and it wouldn't be long before he'd need a girl's name.
The whole thing was somewhat depressing; after all, what boy wants to be pretty? It wasn't the horrible fate it once was, but he certainly wasn't going to wear makeup or anything more girly than he had to. Life was simply changing, and he was resigned to it.
"Benny? Come on out, it's time for your measurements." Mom called out from the bathroom, like she did every morning. She measured him every day to track the changes, a humiliating experience, though she tried her best to not make it so. "Have you thought about a new name, honey?" She asked, smiling.
"I told Jenny she could pick it, remember?" He said, his voice soft and high and feminine. He hated it, but he couldn't do anything about it. "Oh, yes, I forgot. That was so nice of you. Are you going to ask her soon, then? You really don't look very much like a Benny at all anymore."
"Yeah, mom. I guess I'll ask sometime today." She finished up the measurements, and Benny walked out of the bathroom to start his homework for that way.
