Jon lay in her bed, swathed in a sea of sheets and blankets. She'd forgotten just how much bigger everything was when you were a kid. And since the post-its hadn't changed reality at all, this was still her old room, and the otherwise normal-sized bed seemed positively enormous. What was worse, being so small and frail (compared to the teenage boy she had been before, anyway) made her feel vulnerable and scared, and that was keeping her awake.

As Jon lay there, she thought back over all the craziness of the evening. After the general insanity of the changes to her family, the rest of the evening had seemed almost kind of mundane, but there had still been plenty of weirdness left to get The cat-girl's problems had been simple enough to resolve, and even the girl who had become a harpy was content just to get her hands back, but it had been terribly awkward breaking the news to the young man who had become a mermaid that they couldn't find a way to change her back. Even after they'd gotten her set up with a lucrative telecommuting job and a specially-designed beach house, it was obvious that she was going to have a hard time adjusting.

Even more upsetting had been the man turned anime-style dragon-girl, who had also undergone a mental change that made her an eagerly-aspiring mother. About the only thing they could do to limit the damage there was to ensure that whoever helped her start a family would stick around to help her raise the kids. The last they'd seen of her, she'd set her sights on a dashing young cop who had happened to be in the vicinity. And weirdly but luckily, the last transformee, a teenaged boy who had been transformed into a very female guardian spirit for the nearby state forest, was absolutely fine with it, though no mental changes had been effected by the post-it she had found.

All the transformees except the dragon-girl chose to have some invented memory to explain their changes rather than remember the existence of the stone, and after a quick wish to ensure that she didn't tell anyone who might try and take it about the stone, that had been that. The Madison family had decided to leave their own adjustments and discussions until tomorrow, and had gone to bed.

Jon huddled up tighter under the blankets, the soft warmth soothing her nerves a bit. She was still incredibly worried about the future, and particularily about her relationship with Karyn, but she felt a little safer lost in that tangle of fabric. Before long, the little girl who was Jon Madison was asleep.

Ken and Tina were having a hard time getting to bed, as well. They lay mostly rigid and fully dressed on the bed they had shared for so many years. Ken had wished up a pair of the baggiest, most figure-hiding pajamas she could imagine, but it didn't do much good. Even if Tina couldn't see it, Ken could feel it. The sensations from her new body were simply too different to ignore. She was a woman now, no matter how much she tried to ignore it.

Tina, for her part, was almost as uncomfortable. Part of it was her unfamiliarity with her new equipment, but largely she just didn't want to make Ken uncomfortable. The two lay motionless and quiet on the bed for quite a while.

It was Ken who broke the silence. "Oh, who are we kidding!?" she growled. "Are we married or aren't we? Enough of this hands-off garbage!" Firmly but gently, she nestled up against her wife. Tinagaped. "Ken, I...what's this all about?"

"I don't know," her sort-of-husband replied. "But with a situation like this, I think we need to be holding each other more, not less!"

Tina absent-mindedly opened her arms as Ken snuggled into her embrace. "But honey," she said, "do you mean we should...?" She could feel her new organ start to warm up at the very idea.

Ken looked up at her love and smiled. "I'm not saying we should do anything if we're not ready for it," she replied. "But I'm not gonna just ignore my own wife because weird things've happened to us." She clasped her wife's arms around her, and the two of them continued to lay there for a good long while.
