Mikey shook his head. "I guess they're coming to pick you up soon." She nodded, smiling brightly. "I'll go get ready, then!"
Mikey turned around as she ran out and started laughing. He was having so much fun with his dad he'd forgotten all about the real Megan in his dad's body. In the next couple of days he'd find out exactly how the rest of his newest wish went. Until then he'd be eagerly waiting. A car pulled up outside the house about twenty minutes later, and everyone but his "dad" went out to greet his aunt and uncle and say goodbye to "Megan."
"Dad" came home a few hours later, very happy; it made Mikey wonder what "he'd" done. "When am I going home, auntie Linda?" He overheard the real Megan asking, and realized, horrified, what had happened. How would he fix things? His mom shrugged, confused.
Meanwhile, at Megan's house, she was happily playing and running around the house, ignorant of who she really was. In the next couple of days she'd remember, and the real fun would begin.
