Jon followed Sarah through the front foyer to her large living room.
When they stopped, he said, "Sarah, I know you have the stone. I watched you wish yourself back here. You know how powerful it is, but you also know that wishes can't be undone. I need to know exactly what you said so we can undo this; I want to be able to call myself by my name again."
Sarah replied, "Oh, I think Joan suits you."
"Look," responded Jon, "Just because I have some features that are 'feminine' doesn't mean I'm still not male. I should have a male name."
"Jon, or Joan, since that what you seem to want to call yourself, you are are so worried about your name and me following the rules of this stone that you seem to have overlooked the rules yourself," said Sarah.
"Huh?" questioned Jon, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, 'Joan,' that according to the rules you told me, you shouldn't have noticed your inability to call yourself 'Jon' since you didn't hear any wishes. Aren't you curious how you noticed?" Sarah responded.
Jon just stared up at her in confusion turned to realization. "Wait, did you wish me to notice?"
