"So all my clothes are going to turn pink when I wear them over the next three days, huh? I won't notice since I didn't hear the wish, huh?"
"Look, Zoe,"
"Shut UP!" Jon shut up instantly. "I turned two pairs of my underwear pink. Now I have a pink BRA. You're lucky I figured it out before I tried to put my favorite skirt on. I would KILL you if that turned pink."
Jon and Karyn just sat and stared at Zoe as she entered the bedroom and shut the door behind her.
"These are my least favorite clothes. You know, 'brother'," and again she enunciated the word like she was chewing on something bitter, "you didn't think to make anything I wear change back after I stop wearing it. These jeans that were blue, my shoes, everything is going to be stuck pink even after the three days are up. And since I can't wear THESE for the next three days, that means I'm going to ruin two more outfits."
"Jeez, I'm sorry, I didn't think of that."
"And you two are lecturing ME on being careful with this thing? You know what?" Zoe grabbed a t-shirt off of Jon's floor, one she knew was one of his favorites, and pulled it on over her head.
"Wait, Zoe!" But he was too late. By the time the words came out of his mouth, one of his favorite t-shirts was now pink.
Zoe took the t-shirt off and tossed it at Jon. "Wear it today."
"What? I can't wear this now. It's pink!"
"Oh, but you can make ME wear pink? How about I curse you with the same thing? I can think of even worse if you don't want to wear that."
Jon quickly pulled off the t-shirt he had been wearing and slipped the newly pink one on. It felt just like normal, but it was a horrible shade of pink. It sure didn't seem so funny now that he was the butt of the joke.
"So now, I'm stuck with blonde hair and pink outfits for three days. Even with shiny purple hair and a faggy shirt, I don't think we're even. Not by a long shot." Zoe headed for the door and stopped when she had reached it. She turned and regarded Jon and Karyn, and then smiled evilly as she said, "You two are going to have a very interesting day today at school, and you'd better be wearing that t-shirt." And then she turned and left the bedroom.
