Could he stall any longer? What else could he do? Questions plagued his mind as things felt like they were moving in slow motion.
It wasn't Jon's imagination....things were slowing down as the wish started to take effect. Jon's wish had unleashed a lot of chaos, which only amplified over the last day. Due to the chaos playing out at that moment, it was impossible to erase what was going on, as if it had not happened. So it still would in the new reality.
Jon's attention was focused on Allison and Barb, who had both been backing away, but now the two seemed to be going in opposite directions. And Allison seemed to be growing older, turning into a tall and thin looking middle-aged woman. Barb seemed to be heading in the other direction. He spotted Athena, reverting back to her teen years, looking more like the Athena he remembered, although she was stopping well above freshman.
"So, do you want your phone back or not?" A familiar voice said. He blinked. It was Karyn standing there. She was back to being a teenager, but she looked like a rather angry one, with a fair amount of hate in her eyes, directed at him. "Because it would be a shame if I just...dropped it...." she said.
Tiffany was standing next to her, although she was dressed very differently. She seemed a bit nervous still. "Come on, Karyn...let's just get out of here."
"We'll leave when we're finished, Tiff," Karyn said. "Mr. Goody Two Shoes over there should be more careful with his stuff. He wouldn't want people to find out what he's really like, would he?"
"Karyn...why are you doing this?" Jon said. He looked around...he was still being blackmailed, but by a new version of Karyn and a clearly reluctant Tiffany.
"Hand it over, or this goes under my boots," she said. And the boots looked like they could very easily destroy the phone.
