Before Jon and Athena got to their class, however, they were confronted by none other than Nadine Ferguson, a Bible-thumping Baptist prude, who made it clear what her feelings were concerning the Goth crowd.
"Devil worshipers," she spat at the two of them.
"You better cut it out, Nadine," Athena warned. "Or the next person to undergo a role swap will be you."
Nadine grunted and rolled her eyes. "I don't participate in those kinds of things. They're nothing but perversions. Now get out of my way, you evildoers," she said, shoving Athena out of the way, causing the Goth girl to fall to the floor.
"You're not going to get away with this, Nadine," Athena said, angry. Then, suddenly, Nadine stopped in her tracks and turned around. Jon didn't know how, but he knew that Nadine and Athena would now have to "role swap" with each other. It seemed that Jon wouldn't be hanging out with Athena for the near future after all.
