As he came back to the house, he needed to place the bags down in the kitchen for his mother to sort out and put away. He then went over to his room so that he could actually start the game. He placed the gaming headset over his face and began to log in. Loading, he found that he was no longer on the character creator screen. He was in a dark area and it was not pretty. The grass was not green, but bright red. The sky was pitch black. However dark it was, there was a single large tree visible in the distance. He made his way over slowly. He had no clue what to expect, but it was very concerning. As he got closer to the tree, he could hear the sounds of a brook nearby him. There has to be a water source near him. David looked all over, but he could not see it yet. That made him even more cautious than before. The boy approached the tree and touched the bark. He then looked up at the canopy to see if there was anything about the tree he could use to identify it. Peaches were hanging from the branches. They were all normal looking. At least it seemed that way to David.

There was a pop up in his menu that he looked at there was an objective to pick 10 peaches from the tree. "I guess it's something to do at least. Hopefully I can get out of here soon." he muttered to himself as he looked at the round low hanging fruit above him. He was able to jump and yank 6 of the peaches free on his descent. The last 4 required him to actually climb up to one of the higher branches and pluck the rest manually. As soon as David had the 10th one on his inventory, the objective changed. It was to eat at least one of the peaches. He shrugged and brought one to his mouth. Peaches were not his favorite fruit. That had to be the tart cherries. He did not hate the fuzzy fruits though. He bit into one and looked at his surroundings as he sat on the branch. There was still very little that could be seen of the dark area he had found himself in. Once he had finished the peach he looked down at the pit. He was confused when he saw the pit was a snow white. There were bits of black sticking to it that he did not understand. It hit him all at once. The black bits were the fruit.

Being that he could barely believe it himself, he had to take another peach out of his inventory. He took a small nibble. His fears were confirmed. The fruit was pitch black and not the orange he was expecting. He threw it all into the brook along with the others in his inventory. "I only had to eat 1 of them after all." he said in disgust. As the peaches began to float in the slow moving brook, David watched as they started to grow and change. They became humanoid and all of them pulled themselves from the bank to the grass near the tree. David stood up in fear. There were 5 males and 4 females. They all had various features and body types. No tattoos or markings of any kind could be found. In, fact there was not marring or blemish of any kind. There was one exception though. One of the males had a scar on his left ass cheek. It kind of resembled a bite mark. Dread began to settle in David's gut. It was if they each went through a random character creation themselves. There were similarities that all 9 of them had. They each had a golden peach skin tone, orange hair and scarlet red eyes.
