Jon considered both Karyn and Sarah McMillan. Karyn had always been a tomboy, while Sarah had always been extremely girly. While Karyn was nice, Sarah was a bitch. Jon knew that being a tomboy or girly didn't make a person be nice or mean, Jon had always been fascinated by how different girls with those personality types could be.
Jon considered making a wish based on those differneces. He wanted to make it reversable so that he could undo any lasting damage that might occur through a poorly phrased wish. He wrote down several variations of the wish and, choosing the one he considered the best, he began.
"I wish that, until I wish otherwise, that there would be two basic personalities for women: Tomboy and Girly-Girl. While there would be 'ranges' of behavior for each of these personalities, girls would be very obviously Tomboys or Girly-Girls. This would not prevent them from having other personality types, such as goth, artist or geek, but people would always be able to tell which basic personality they are. There would be a strong competative streak between Tomboys and Girly-Girls, but there would be certain common themes that would cross boundaries: both would be boy-crazy, have a passion for sexy underwear and would unconciously act as sexy and flirty as their personality would allow. They would also find each other attractive; Tomboys would be attracted to Girly-Girls and vice-versa. Additionally, daughters of Tomboys would always be Girly-Girls and daughters of Girly-Girls would always be Tomboys. Finally, one third of society would be male, one third would be Tomboys and one third would be Girly-Girls, with it being the norm for a guy to have a relationship with both a Girly-Girl and a Tomboy at the same time."
The stone flashed, telling Jon that his wish had been granted. He assumed that Karyn would still be a Tomboy and Sarah would still be a Girly-Girl, but wondered how other girls, like his goth sister, Zoe, or his mother, would change.
