"Joan! It is time to wake up."
Jon practically jumped in his bed as his mother ripped off his blanket. "What the hell mom?! And who is Joan?"
"Well you need a female name, so I choose. You are my daughter after all."
Jon was speechless.
"Now hurry up. I expect to see you in the bathroom in 10 minutes. If you are going to be my daughter you need to know how to do makeup."
Jon was simultaneously excited and terrified at the prospect. Grabbing the stone he made a quick wish, "I wish that my mom wouldn't call me Joan"
Zoe: "Jon's mom won't call her Joan because Jon's legal name is Jessica. Everyone refers to her as Jessica including associated diminutives. Jon will react to the name Jessica as she does her own."
