Jon woke up cranky. His period was worse than normal. Girls didn't know how lucky they were. They had the fun jobs, fucking and nursing. They didn't have to deal with the stuff in between. They didn't get menstural cramps, stretch marks or spend twenty hours squeezing out a baby. Jon wondered if his cramps were part of Karyn's wish, but dismissed it. His periods were always bad.
Jon began dressing. He put on his panties, a denim skirt and a white blouse. He wasn't in the mood to try and make himself look pretty for Karyn. He grumped his way downstairs and ate breakfast. His Dad, Susan, (who had been his mom in the old reality) was dressed in a power suit and eating a quick breakfast before going to work. His Mom, Alan, (formerly his dad) was still in his nightgown, being a stay at home mom who was able to work from home. Loose as the nightgown was, Mom's pregancy bump was starting to show up under it. Alan was six months pregnant with a set of twins. Susan and Alan had had more children in this reality than in the old one, so the twins Alan was carrying were numbers nine and ten.
After eating a few bites of breakfast, Jon left the house and went to find Karyn. Whatever she had wished for had better be worth it.
