Nadine Black was extremely frustrated with her friend, Jon. They'd been friends since they were in elementary school, but ever since he'd started dating, he had less time for his friends. Nadine was also fairly annoyed that so many girls were throwing themselves at him. She legitimately wasn't interested in him in that way, but, it annoyed her that she was single...but also because it made no sense to her.
Of course, her lifetime of friendship with Jon was not so much a lifetime as a day, not that she knew that. Nadine Black had only existed since 3:47PM on Thursday afternoon. Nadine Black was a bit of a tomboy, and shared many of Jon's pop culture interests.
This was a sharp contrast to the original, uptight, baptist shrew that Nadine had been on Monday. In her defense, that had a lot to do with her upbringing..which she left on Tuesday afternoon when Nadine Ferguson ceased to be.
At 3:47PM on Tuesday, she had been heading to after-school bible study with her friend Tina Shepard, when her entire upbringing changed...and she became Nadine Leeson...a girl whose religion was math, and had no involvement with organized religion. She spent the afternoon with the Math Club, her new friends.
On Wednesday, at 3:47PM, Nadine Leeson was replaced by Nadine Weller, one of the secretaries under Principal Morse, known for being generally cranky and unhappy in her job. As Nadine Black, aside from her single status, she seemed to be happier than any of the previous days...not that she knew that.
She walked down the hall, passing the Taylor Twins. While Melony Taylor hadn't been in school the previous afternoon, her twin, Jackie had been at the auditions for Annie that afternoon, leaving Melony with a new twin sister.
