"Tiffany, you have to leave. Right now," Sarah said impatiently.
"What's gotten into you?" her friend asked.
"Tiffany, just go, okay? I'll explain tomorrow." Now Sarah had to think up a lie to tell her friend (or friends) the next day. No way was she going to tell the truth, that she was dating Zoe.
"Fine. Whatever. But there better be a really good explanation for this." Then Tiffany turned and left.
When she was across the street and about two houses down, however, she stopped and watched as one of those freaky Goth girls walked up to Sarah's house ... and then was let inside! Tiffany was even more confused than ever. What the hell was going on?
Curious, she headed back to Sarah's house, intending to peek in through one of the windows.
